So it apprears I may actually have a HT opposite! Beyond Upset~

This is unbelievable, I am so sorry you are going through this.  I'm also hopefull it's a heel or cord!  We're here for you....

 I hate to write this especially for those going through the process because it's hard enough as it is without this extra worry but it's 100% a boy. We're waiting to hear back from genetics Dr. about what could have happened although there's not much we can do at this point. The high-risk OB was extremely compassionate but said this isn't the 1st case of this she's seen, it's just not that out in the open. Our RE (he's local to us not from one of the big practices) was also very nice and thought for sure it was a mistake on original ultrasound and was also very upset that we were going through this. I'm doing better that I thought I would be but I think it's just going to come in waves and we'll just have to take it day by day. I had already bought girl stuff that's going to be hard to deal with and my best friend is having a girl after 2 boys but we'll just grin and bear it.

We do have "girls" frozen although they would have to be re-tested, it's an option for the future. It's nice to have that out there but I'm nervous about 3 kids and we had only planned on having 3 so I can't wrap my brain around a 4th right now. For now we're not telling anyone and may keep it a "surprise" because I just can't handle the comments right now. We'll see in a couple of weeks if I feel the same way. Thanks for all the kind words and encouragement though. 

I'm so sorry CTin VA - this is beyond crazy.

 I'm sorry for harping on this, but what are they prepared to offer you?  They screwed up, your family deserves answers and some type of compensation.  If you go another round, it needs to be on them, nothing out of pocket at all.

I am sorry, did you get clear pics of the BOY parts, because I still don't see boy in that pic you posted though I am no expert, my boys shots were very clear of scrotum and penis...

I agree with everyone, you need to get any additional future tx for FREE and maybe compensation for this HUGE mistake! Can I ask how many frozen females do you have? You don't require Csections I hope? I know that my next baby will be my last, it will be Csection number 3 and I had a lot of scar tissue for number 2...

I also agree about the comments, one of my biggest gripes about being pregnant with another boy is the comments and the sympathy looks UGH! People can be so insensitive!

I hope that in the next few years your family WILL be complete!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was following you on the ultrasound board...came over here to see your update.  I'm so sorry that you didn't get what you had hoped for.  Do you get your money back???  I hope so!!!  They better at least do the FET with your girlies on ice for free later on down the road.  Seriously..they OWE YOU.

For what its worth, my third son is my angel.  I absolutely adore him.  I hope that you can take some comfort, albeit small with all you've been through, that this little guy was certainly meant to be and you just may be surprised at great it is to have 3 boys.  I have 3 and I wouldn't change it for anything.  For now, you're just very shocked (and rightfully so!!)..give yourself time to digest the news.

This little boy is the luckiest boy in the world to have you for his mommy - you sound as though you are dealing with this amazingly well, and i think thats all down to the fact you must be an amazing mom who adores her children. 

After this indescribable shock of your HT going not to plan (dont want to say 'wrong' as this little bubs was clearly meant to be!) you have responded in the most dignified and graceful way a great mom would.

Congratulations on your healthy little boy, and here's to a future where your three lads have a little sister to play with
