shannah82 :  Thank you. I am sure we are both carring girls :) I am much more nausated with this pregnancy :) Are your symptoms different?

I have my fingers crossed for you.

I contacted intelligender and they are very surprised!! LOL. Of course, they did not admit that it was a PH test but they did ask me several questions including how I was able to measure my PH and how I was able to change my PH. Happy ROFL

My symptoms are way differnt this time.. I never had morning sickness with my boys.. I have had morning sickness every since I was 4 weeks pregnant and was hospitilized when I was 15 weeks because I became so severely dehydrated from not being able to get keep anything down. I have also lost a little over 15 pds since being pregnant this time.. I was a whale by 18 weeks with my boys lo l... I hope your right and we both are carrying our little girls. Happy

PrayMy fingers are crossed for the both of us that we get our DD this time. Good Luck Clover

I finally passed the 10w mark so I did the intelligender test this morning and it said GIRL. I was a bit scared to test as I tested my urine ph first and it was nearly a 7 so I was freaking that it would go green for boy, but luckily it stayed orange... Yay I hope it's right.

Ok,

At fiorst I thought the same thing about how it worked. I figured I would get a girl reading because I knew I had a natural low PH.

I got my test yesterday and tried it this morning. I also tested my PH on my strips. as usual, my strips showed very low PH. They turned a darker orange than they already were even.

I did get my PH up when I was preparing to concieve, for swaying purposes (hoping for a boy). and at that point my PH strips were showing a beautiful dark green 8.5 PH. But as soon as I found out I had concieved, I stopped with my crazy PH diet and my PH went back down to my noram 3 PH. Which is what it was this morning when I took the test. Only my inteligender test came out very much BOY. Which would suggest PH is in fact not the way they find out. So i'm back to the drawing boards. Hoping above all hopes though, that it was right, and it's a boy.

I used the intelligender and i got a boy result, but it was not a very dark green.  (this result was confirmed by intelligender).  anyhow i bought ph strips and tested at 4pm and i also got a alkaline 8.0  which would be boy result.

i plan to do it in the morning has this is when this should be done so fingers crossed should be a boy result again.

i have my scan in 5 weeks so this will confirm if having boy or girl.

do you know what you are having?

Does Intelligender turn darker the longer it sits? (past the 10 min mark) or does it remain the same color as the 10 min mark?  I took the test and it was a dark orange at 10 min but then turned dark green at @ 12 min.  Anyone know?

I just read these posts and saw yours about morning sickness being less with boys. With my son I threw up everyday of the pregnancy even the day after he was born. Now that I am pregnant again (after 14 years) I haven't thrown up at all but I have been craving the same sour things as with my son. I took the intelligender test last saturday and was confused by the results. I don't go for my ultrasound till late July so I may try out the PH strips instead of paying $30 to retake the test.

I took the Intelligender test and while the urine stayed orange the crystals on the bottom turned green. There were also gray bubbles that came out of the top. I contacted IG and they are sending me a new test to retake and feel as if my previous test gave a girl result. My husband has been convinced from the beginning that it's a girl since while trying he was using positive thinking to help us get pregnant with a girl. Note, our son is 14 so it was crazy enough that we even got pregnant and he feels like the baby was concieved through the power of positive thinking. All I know is we tried for so many years and would give up and we decided to try again and within 8 months got pregnant. I don't put much stock in the ring test but it said girl, circle on belly and wrist. While I am craving the same sour things I craved with my son, I do not have the horrible morning sickness that required phinergan the entire pregnancy. With my son I did have a sweet tooth too but the only thing I have really given up in these 14 weeks is sweets, I could care less if there was a candy bar sitting next to me. Some people on here are talking about how much more they like Taco Bell and burgers but as a family we became vegetarian a couple years back so that doesn't apply. One thing I have noticed is that I like cantalope better than I used to and watermelon both with salt on them. And one moring I woke up at 6 am and just had to get up because I knew there were tomatoes in the fridge so I cut them up, put lots of catalina on them, scarfed them down and went back to bed. I drink bottles and bottles of straight lemon juice like I did when I was a kid and like I did with my son, but for years haven't touched the stuff. While there hasn't been morning sickness or heartburn with this one there has been some lower back pain and there has been quite a bit of spotting. I have had 3 ultrasounds so far due to spotting and aching but the Doctor says everything looks perfectly normal on the sono and that it's common. I did not have spotting with my son but then again I was barely 19 when we had him and I have just turned 33 a couple weeks ago so I don't expect to be able to compare much from the two pregnancies. With my son my sex drive was off the chart out of control and not quite as vivacious with this one. So since I found this site I have been looking at all the factors and some are curious while some are off the wall. I will keep you posted and let you know how my second intelligender tests goes and then again after the sono at the end of July. We shall see if my husband is right or not. He was right with our son.

I went to the OB yesterday and they changed my due date making me now 16 weeks instead of 15. They did a PH test and the number was 6, still haven't recieved the second Intelligender test but will post when I do. My ultrasound is set for July 16th and I am hoping for a girl, but the closer I get the more I think they will say it's a boy. I will post the results of the sono when I get them.
