Ok I think I know how I want to do this finding out the gender thing!

 So I was going to wait until birth, mainly because it's our last child and I just wanted to do something different but I'm having a horrible time shopping and I'd like it to be more... climiatic??  Oh and because I'm an attention whore like that 

Anyway, I was thinking of having the tech seal it in an envelope and giving it to my best friend who will also be the one throwing my baby shower/new life celebration/whatever you wanna call it.  Then when we have that towards the end of the pregnancy she can make a gender reveal cake for the shower and we can find out along with everyone else... I just thought it would be fun   I figure either way I'll be excited then, as long as no one says anything stupid if it's a girl and then there might be a problem... but I'm not inviting asshole in-laws, so I think it'll be okay.  Whaddaya think?!

Sounds like a fun idea! Whould you believe what the tech wrote down though if you didn't see it for yourself?

 Well I was actually going to ask for the pic in the envelope... you know the one they always give you with the goods and they write boy or girl with arrows pointing at them?  Then I might have to harass everyone on here to look at it and reassure me repeatedly until I give birth 

LOL! You know that will totally happen!  I remember a girl here had her DH decorate the nursery as a surprise for her. Only he knew the gender. I would love to do something like that if we ever go for #7.

Yep I remember that!  I think she was going to get to see it on Christmas??  I liked that idea, something 'fun'
