Has anyone had success with O+12 after 35?

I have heard O+12 is not a reliable method for women over 35. Would love to hear if it has worked for others in that age group. Thanks!

I think the concern was possibly that the small window of conception using that method could result in it taking much longer to conceive as opposed to sperm laying in wait for days LOL. There was also mention of the egg possibly not staying viable for the whole 20 hours from release. Not quite sure really that's why I was asking what other people thought. Thanks for your response, it is my first choice of method and you made me feel more optimistic about it! May I ask, did you do only o+12 or a combo of cut off as well? Thanks so much for your help!!

I want to do a clean O+12 with 7-10 days abstinence. I'll try it for a few cycles and then possibly try a different method if that;s not working. Thanks so much for your advice!!

Hi. We will try once more for a girl. I will be 37 and I am going to try O+12 for a few cycles first as well. I have read a few things about abstinence for over 35 being a bit more risky i.e. due to egg quality but I still want to give it a go. Will probably be trying at the end of the year/early next year. I have been making notes and will do supplements etc and maybe try to modify my diet slightly i.e. cut out read meat and salt etc. But I don't think I will go to crazy on the diet. Will try and get hubby to do a 10 day abstinence. Is this a good time for abstinence or is 14 days better? Its great to see that there are a lot of others with two or three boys who get a girl for their last child. cheers
