Eviction notice posted!

I had my 35.5/36 week check up and I"m dilated to a 2cm, 60% effaced and baby is very low and head down!!! So we set the induction date for July 21 unless she decided to come before then. I am SOOOOO relieved to have an end in sight, but with Dh's b-day being July 14 and the full moon on the 15th I'm hopeing she makes her appearance then! We are SO ready!!

My doctor diagnosed me with PSD and mine is a severe case they did a scan to check my bones and "area" and there is a pratty large gap in my pubic bone, my doc was even really suprised but thinks it should get better after birth. I've gotten the "full armor" as I jokingly call it maternity belt...it's the one that wraps all the way around and across the top of my belly and has helped my pubic bone discomfort tremendously...I can feel a MAJOR difference when I take it off to shower but have started sleeping in it too as the pain is pretty unbearable! But at least I know why and that baby isn't affected by it so I can not worry about that so much. My Dr was really nice yesterday and I'm so glad cause I was in tears! I'm so excited she will be here soon!

Hope it all goes well, Im having problems with my pelvis too, nearly fell over twice because the pain makes my legs give way!!!!

Sorry to hear you are in so much pain too, I finally broke down and cried in the Dr.'s office and that's what prompted them to give me good pain medicine.  Other than that, how are you feeling?  I've just been trying to keep really busy, have something planned for practically every day (which is totally exhausting and very over ambitious).  I find though if we have something planned I don't focus on the pain as much.  I had an ultrasound last Thursday and another one tomorrow, so I'll get to see how she's grown in a week.  I keep hoping they'll just decide to go ahead and take her out early, but I know that every day she stays in there will help with her weight.  Right now they estimate that she's about 4 lbs and 8 ounces, and they are hoping she'll be at least 5 lbs 5 oz at birth.

I can't believe that we'll get to meet our little girls soon!

HPL- well I had a scan at 36+4 with my dd and they estimated 5lbs 5oz and she came out 7! So I wouldn't depend on that very much...I know she has had those small measurements but still! Glad you are getting pain relief finally and keeping yourself busy. I am too, feeling fine other than the pain, hard time sleeping, but that's pain related also. We got moved however so I'm keeping busy with the girls rooms...especially the baby's room! we pick her paint color this weekend, SO excited. DH got the crib up yesterday...it's so pretty!

Faith and Hope- Thank you, I hope you are feeling well, your day is coming up SO fast!!! Sorry we are all having so much pain..my legs will give out at night time if I wake to use the bathroom...scary and poor DH worried and it wakes him up when I get up, lol! But our babes will make it all worth it!

Yeah HPL don't put too much stock into that whole u/s weight guess Jai was supposed to be 7.2 the day before I ended up having him and he weighed a whole 5.9 pounds.

BB-for a few days I could literally feel my pelvis like it was still open, I guess it was going back together but walking was retarded, and my back is still hurting from that retarded epidural, other than that I feel great, Jai is doing ok on his sleeping thus far I stay up til about 12 and feed him and then  he goes every 3 hours...I can't wait for DH to get back so he can pick up a feeding lol, he has gotten better with sucking after he latches (he was very lazy) but he still prefers breastmilk out of the bottle and I don't mind that either being my girls were very attached and refused to take milk from anywhere other than my boobs lol 

I'm pretty sure they get the estimates from measuring the long bones and that sized up the supposed weight. In my dd1's case she was quite squatty, lol at only 18.5 inches so they estimated her weight 5.5 when in reality she was quite the chunker for her gestation....if you have a longer baby they probably get an over estimate of weight.

Queen- Sounds like you are settling into a routine, how nice! Feel free to put some pics on here or you can email me if you are comfortable with that...I just dont have a FB :( But I'm glad you are all well and like you I wont mind her only  taking bottles too! I think breastmilk is best, regardless if its from tap or bottle, it's still the same milk! LOL I had to supplement with dd1 due to her early age to ensure enough Vitamin D, and that's ok too, gives me a chance to get a few bottles in the freezer!

Oh my Queen dont you know youre not supposed to make preggo people cry! LOL. he's just gorgeous has a beautiful "not so newborn" look...and I agree his hands do have some size to them! So proud for you and your new little man!!! What do his sisters think of him? Happy 1 week birthday Jai!!!!

We got all the rest of the baby furniture today, my pump and I offically have all the baby's blankets, clothes, hats, bibs etc washed and folded up!! We are going to pick paint and supplies up tomorrow and my parents are coming to help us paint the nursery, then DH is going to put all the furniture together (the crib is done though) either Monady or Tuesday and I'll almost have everything complete...her wall decal still isnt here and that's irritating but oh well, we have to paint first anyway! I've managed to sleep good the past three nights and took off work today and we already had Monday off so I'll have me a nice little time off!

Hi ladies! Just checking in. Still here went to the Dr yesterday and I'm at 2+cm now and 75% thinned out...been having a LOT of spotting since then. I know it's normal and doesn't mean anything but it kinda got my hopes up! LOL. Nursery is done being painted , the furniture is together and I will spend today getting things put where they belong! The name decal should be here next week and will get put up and the bedding should be here right after that! I'm SO excited!!!!

 I also wanted to jump in and wish you luck..I too have posted my eviction notice, too bad this baby is just as stubborn..I know I am only 36 weeks, but I had an ultra sound on Friday and the baby was 8 lbs...when he is supposed to be around 5.5-6...so that is huge. I am measure 38 weeks, and the baby's head is the size of a 40weeker...I had been thinking about giving it one last try at a VBAC, but I am thinking all the signs are pointing to another c-section..I hope this one will be easier...

I am absolutely miserable...I just want the baby to come, but then I know I am not totally ready either.  We still haven't reorganized the car to see if we can get three car seats in, I bought new PJ's for the hospital stay, but don't love the one pair...I haven't packed up the boys bags, as they will be staying with my parents...and we need to buy diapers, but I don't know what size to get for him, since he is big, I am wondering which ones to get him...Okay clearly, I shouldn't be typing any more and should be getting some of these things done.  I feel like the to do list is long, and I feel like doing nothing!!!  But am going to have to find my energy. I have given myself a deadline of tomorrow --if I don't go into labour by tomorrow, than I will just have the c-section...wish I didn't need to though.

Small hurdle- I completely understand you...sometimes I feel the pains and I'm like Oh PLEASE be labor, then again I'm like well...things are still stacked in the closet, I JUST got the carseat base in, and things are still looming around...oh goodness...but then again the thigns we "need" are ready to go so bring it on! i'm still spotting pretty good, sorry tmi, it's dark brown so I'm sure it's just the normal stuff that happens...I've had more of a "show" this afternoon and more of a cramp like feeling with contractions but I'm not getting my hopes up! She too is measuring two weeks ahead so that puts me around 39 weeks so I'm not worried about her being too little, like your little guy...I have a feeling they coming out on the chunky side! lol! But grab a pack or teo of newborn size diapers...he will lose a little bit of weight after birth and he may havea thinner torso and just be long, and you want them to fit him good, kwim? Anyway, GOOD LUCK to you...I'm just thrilled for us!
