Spotting...updated!

Hi Vendela. Haven't seen you round in a while and totally missed you announcement(don't know how I managed that!!!) Really sorry that you were spotting. I'm sure now that the spotting has stopped things will be fine. I can't believe that you can't go to the ER if you start spotting and they'll do a scan for you there and then. They do that here. Making you wait is just cruel and putting unnessesary stress on you that you don't need. Especially with your history they should have brought you in straight away. Keeping you in my prayers and my fingers are tightly crossed that you will get good news on Tuesday. Wishing you luck.

Vendela - I must have missed your announcement too.  There are a few oldies on here who have been wondering about you and I am so pleased you continued TTC and are now pregnant.

I am so sorrry that you are experiencing bleeding but am relieved to learn that it has stopped.  I know bleeding can be for a number of reasons but hope that you soon get your mind put to rest at the scan. 

I had bright red bleeding with DS1 but they put it down to an eroded cervix (which sounds horrible but is apparently quite common).  It is certainly scary though when you wipe and see bright red blood while pregnant.  I had it again with DS2 but because it was the same as my previous pregnancy, I didn't worry.  Both pregnancies were successful ... so I am just trying to say that not all bleeding means the worst.  Luckily, this time around I haven't had any .. yet!

 littlemenX3 - Hey there! Thanks for popping in You didn't miss the announcement I didn't post in the BFP forum. Felt like I'd jinx it if I did. I agree with you, 1 week is a long time to wait when you are wondering if your baby has died I wish I could just go to ER and have a scan but it doesn't work like that here. Thank you for the prayers and good luck wishes, I need it!

Thanks for sharing your experience, I hope it is something like eroded cervix, hormone changes (breakthough bleed) or a small hematoma/implant bleed. I don't think I am about to m/c right now as I've had no spotting for 3 days but I am not reassured all is well with the little one

Vendela, Im sooooo sorry, you have been through so much. All I can say is that out of my 2 babies and 3 losses, my biggest blood loss was with my first daughter (now 5 years) the other 3 losses I had a tiny bit of tan spotting. There is no way to tell, but my prayers are with you hun xxx

Hey there Loopy! Good to hear from you  Thank you for the prayers and support  I just wish I was a little further along so I could detect the heartbeat with the doppler. Going to the hospital for a scan is so stressful. I know there's no way to tell for sure other than having a scan. I would have gone private but have no way of getting there as DH has left with the car.

Had my scan this morning and I am thrilled to be able to tell you that our little 'gummy bear' is doing great! The tech couldn't find a reason for the spotting and everything looked absolutely normal. Baby measured 8w6days and had a beautiful heartbeat. I am so very happy and relieved.

I'm so happy everything went well for you Vendela. Don't know if you know but Bayoudancer had her baby boy yesterday and she was on the same ttc board as us. You won't feel the time flying and soon it'll be you holding your baby in your arms. xxx

Vendela!!  Super huge congrats on your pregnancy!  I'm glad that the bleeding has stopped and your little bean is doing fine.  I hope you continue to have a h&h 9 months.  I couldn't be happier for you.  You truly deserve this and I'm so glad to have seen this post :)  

 Oh, thank goodness!  Been there before and that 30 seconds before they zoom in on the bean is just murder!!!  I am so happy for you - and happy for us that you are staying!
