Hi gals, Just wondering if you're out there and if any of your babies are noticeably head down yet. Mine is definitely not. She keeps squirming around. But mostly, she kicks low.

Gosh, I don't think I would even know.  I remember with DS the doctor did an exam and said, he's head down and gettin ready,   I didn't even feel any different.   Maybe I should start trying to figure it out...

I'm due in April too!  Not too many of us!  But there is a couple more from the high-tech that are April too.

My girl kicks a lot, low too, but the dr. said a few days ago, she was head down already....I'm not buying it!  It's probably her rear-end!!!  LOL

Hi, i had an antenatal this morning and midwfie said she's not head down and still has plenty of room for somersaults! Mine kicks low a lot as well.

I am also due April 14th, hoping for a little girl this time. Julie

My baby is now head down according to my midwife. Hope she stays like that.

How are you all sleeping?

I am uncomfortable at night and wake up a lot to turn over from side to side. However luckily for me I have a nap every afternoon with my two year old and sleep like a log during the day for an hour/hour and a half. Am I right in thinking that you are all having girls ???? Julie

Yes, jak, this does seem like a girlie kind o' month. Hope you get your pink bundle too!

Oh boy. This one was up a while ago, but I'm going to reply anyways. I'm due April 7th, and my baby is definitly head down. I think shes been there for nearly 2 weeks now? I know because she just loves kicking those ribs of mine. Plus I can find most of her body parts. Dont forget it could be the babys arms swinging all over the place hitting you down low. About a month to go and shes stuck head down, unless she attemps to make a major turn in my stomach, which I pray she does not.   She still moves just as much as she did a month ago though, so shes finding the places to move around. 

 

As for sleeping, my little angel sleeps all night with me. I don't get kicked and punched at all, so I sleep pretty well...Except the waking up thirsty as crazy and having to turn around bit...weird dreams have taken over too, but none really of the baby..or me being pregnant. Havent had any of those. Anywhoo! I'm getting extrememly tired lately. I slept 13 hours last night and I could have passed out the moment I woke up, I forced myself to stay up all day. 

I'm here too!  And my bump is freakin' HUGE.  I don't even feel human anymore, and I'm so hideously uncomfortable I can barely function.  Just waiting around for labour to begin, although I'm sure I'm several days away.  I cannot bear the thought of going overdue.  Thankfully, my baby has been strictly head-down for several weeks now, and her head has just dropped below the pelvic rim.  But she's now turning over alot, spending much of her time posterior, which really concerns me, as I can have no drugs/pain relief in labour (I have severe reactions to opioids and other drugs and gas) and do not want to have to deliver a posterior baby. 

And I'm disturbed and ashamed to admit that I can't help but feel depressed and cheated at the feeling that all of my fears and concerns and difficulties through it all would be so much easier to bear and embrace if I were doing it all for a beautiful, longed-for baby boy.  That feeling is terrible, but just will not leave me.  Does anyone else feel the same?

Good luck to all of you, may the month swing fast...my last two have gone too slow. Didn't help that I got a bad rash (away now) and now an allergy attack and sore throat. Everything seems to be making these last few days harder.

I have a scheduled csection for Wed.  My little babe turned breech a few weeks ago, and doesn't want to turn back!  We have an u/s that morning and if she's still breech, we'll have her in the afternoon. 

I've never had a section before, and am rather hesistant, but the point is to have a healthy baby, so that's what I will focus on!!!

I can't wait to hear from all our mommies and their new ones!!!
