How important is it to lift weights and how often do you do it?  I do a cardio workout 3 times a week for about 30-40 minutes and I was lifting last year about twice a week.  Do I need to?  Is it that important?

It is important. I think twice a week for women is pretty good. I'm training for a half marathon right now, so I don't have much time to do it, so I slip in a few sets if push-ups each day just to keep the upper body strong...I assume all the running will keep the lower body muscles...:)

I assume all the running will keep the lower body muscles...:)

 

Ok Good!  Because I rarely lift my lower body at all.  My cardio varies from elliptycal, treadmill, stair stepper, bike and the "steppy, wandy, thingy" (no clue what it's called!).  So I do sit ups and lift my upper body.  Thanks Catch!

Weight-loss is not a simple task for all. Exercise and doing more work out is best way to reduction body weight quickly. Prevent more oily and high calorie meals, unhealthy meals can improve fat in body system and they really improve a body weight.

 I'm so lean so I'can't lift any load ,But I try to gain weight as soon as possible.
