twin boys are the greatest gift in life.
I completely agree.
My twin boys are 21 months and I've had an amazing experience! They are technically identical but I can tell them apart at a glance. DS2 "Pudding" is loving, cuddly, round, an affectionate, flirtatious sap. DS3 "Bear" is the bossy, organised version of DH, skinny and nerdy in the most adorable, innocent way. I had some GD when I found out that they were boys at the 20 week scan, because I had DS1 already. But I had so much fun buying cute outfits that my GD evaporated. I think their differing personalities have been allowed to develop
because I've dressed them "same but different colours" so people can
tell them apart. DS3 wears shades of blue, purple and grey whereas DS2 wears earthy and jungle colours: brown, green and yellow.
Do you know whether your twins will be identical? Interesting fact: DS2's hair whorls anticlockwise and DS3's hair whorls clockwise.
People will stop to chat to you in the street and admire you for doing the most amazing job.
If you have an older DD she may even adopt them and tell other people they're "her babies" which will make your heart melt.
