6dp5dt - How dark should the line be?

So, my test on 4dp5dt showed an extremely faint line.  You really had to study the stick to be able to see it.  At 5dp5dt, same extremely faint line.  Today, 6dp5dt, it is a smidge darker.  I can see it without squinting, but still very light.  Not even close to the normal line.  How dark should this line be?  Should it be much darker by now?  I am really worried about a chemical. 

Hey Jen8220, firstly Huge Congrats on getting a BFP this early!!! Amazing news :0) Now from what I have read on here over the last couple of years, most people dont test til at least 6dp5dt, and if it's a BFP then they only see a very faint line at this point. So I really really think you'll be fine, especially as it's got darker from the last 2 days. I wouldnt imagine you'd see a really dark line for another 4 or 5 days or so, so as long as it's gradually getting darker that's the main thing. Hurray! I would wager a bet there's 2 pink beans sticking in there! Fabulous news xxx

Thanks ladies!  That makes me feel better!  It so hard to wait for the blood test!

My first day of testing was day 6, and my line was thin, and very faint.  In fact, I think I looked at it at least a dozen times at first, to be sure I wasn't hallucinating!  Mine didn't really become significantly darker until day 10.  Don't worry!  As long as it's getting darker as the days pass, even just a smidge, there's no doubt you're pregnant!!

My line at 5.5dp6dt you had to squint soooo hard to see it that I ended up having to pull the FRER test apart to make it a bit easier to see, and it was only visible when holding it up to the light.  The next day, it was a smidge darker so that you could see it without pulling apart the test, but still really really faint, it only got a smidge darker each day.  I stopped testing the day of beta which was 10dp6dt so I don't know how long it would've taken to get really really dark.  Everyone is different, but as long as the line continues to get a little darker each day I think you'll be fine.
