Question for those with gender opposites...

How are your symptoms different or were they different for boy vs. girl?

I had morning sickness with all of my children the difference was the DD I threw up way more than with my DSs in fact with DS#2&3 I only threw up once/twice with this baby I am STILL throwing up!! 

My temp is way higher I get so hot at night this is not normal for me I am always soooooo cold!  I don't remember how I was with DD though but I know with my last two boys I was always cold.

With all my kids it has been pretty diffrent. With my DD I throw up alot untill about 20 weeks. With my boys I never threw up but was sooooooo sick I wish I would have. My 2nd ds was the least sick I was but I don't think for me it makes much of a diffrence on how I feel for boy or girl. Sorry I am not much help

This is how I was with DS#2&3. 

Although I am not sure which is worse to be throwing up 6 times a day or to feel like it and be able to!??

 

 

With my son's I had horrible migraines, also "wanted or felt" like I needed to throw-up, maybe once or twice I did, but felt mostly nauseated. With my daughter I felt sick with the worst heart-burn I have ever felt in my life. I couldn't eat really anything because it burned so much. I also got yeast infections and I had never had one before or since.  So I do feel like they were very different, I also felt "hot" and taking showers made me feel dizzy at first, maybe until my second trimester, then it eased up, the heart burn never did get better until she was born. I only gained 13 pounds with her and she was my tiniest, she weighed 5lbs 7 oz, and she was about 10 days early.  It sounds like you have a girl in there to me. Good luck.

Congrats on your baby girl!!!  What I would do for a smaller baby, my smallest was 7lbs 6.5 oz!

Your symptoms sound so much like mine!!!   My heartburn is sick!  I can drink water and I get heartburn.  I have actually not put on any weight at all so far.

Well with my first boys i was nauseus and sick for first 3 months. With this girl pregnancy i felt sick but not actually sick. My friends say this has been an easier pregnancy in their view. I have a six year gap and find it harder to compare. The nausea was definately for less time too this pregnancy. I look similar bump wise.

 Boy Symptoms:

HUGE BOOBS!

Nausea for 9 months!

aversion to water, red meat, vegetables and toothpaste

loved anything potato and lots of  fruit

medium sex drive all the way through

right boob bigger..lol

level headed -not that moody

tired but not excessive

carries looooooooow as low can be

medium appetite -didn't put on much weight

hair and skin was fantatstic

FELT AWFUL! (the constand sickness killed me)

THis Girl:

NO BOOBS!

Nausea for 16 weeks-sometimes still get it on the odd day.

Aversion to chicken and most meat

love oily fish and cereal...and chocolate

sex drive either VERY high or non existant..lol

Left boob bigger -so weird

VERY VERY MOODY!!!

Very tired

Carrying higher than my son

appetite very up and down, either eat for Britain or not at all. weight gain comes in fits and starts

Dull hair, crap skin

Feel very rubbish but love not feeling as sick as with DS.

Thank you ladies!  I carried each of my babies different.  With DS#2 I carried him so high that I thought he would crack a rib!!  Then with DS#3 I thought that he would escape by the 7 month he was so low!!

What about being emotional?  I cannot believe the things that I am crying over.....  I was reading CARS to DS and I couldn't even finish reading it I was crying so hard at the end!!???

 I have spent the last 6 and a half months sobbing xxx

With my boys I had no symptoms and didn't even feel pregnant the only things I had was extreme tiredness, I was always freezing cold and my hair grew quickly I also had leaky boobs from the start With my girl I was sick the full 9 mths felt and looked crap, had huge sore boobs that never leaked, greasy hair and spots, I was always boiling hot and my hair never grew This baby is the same as my daughter and is a girl too x
