I have to ask...

Am I the only one who has a baby that literally feels like it's JUMPING on my bladder multiple times per day? And is there anything I can do to relieve the insane pressure, or is this just one of the many ''joys'' of pregnancy you're stuck with?  It's *so* uncomfortable, and I swear I might actually pee myself one of these days.

Yes, very much so!  TMI - but my first ever midwife told me that when you're having a wee, when you think you've finished rock gently back and forwards a few times as it moves the baby enough to let more urine through your bladder where the baby was stopping it from coming down, which then empties it properly.  It does work a lot of the time, but you do feel a right muppet sitting on the toilet rocking x

 oh and another joy, i have a really bad cold, always sneezing. i almost put on one of ds's sesame street diapers. everytime i sneeze i pee.

I literally soaked pads with urine so much with DS1 that I didn't even realize right away that my water broke when it did.  Thankfully that did not happen in my subsequent pg's like I thought it would.  Hang in there, just a few more weeks till you meet this little guy and get some relief.

Quite similar to daisyboo's suggestion, my MW in my first pregnancy told me to try 'double voiding' your bladder which is basically where you go, then stop for a little say 30 secs then try and 'make' yourself go again, it does seem to be quite effective at emptying everything possible out.  I'm still up 3 or 4 times per night already though, and I know that will only get worse!!

Thanks for the advice, girls!  It sucks, but I'm SO glad to know I'm not the only one!  It's getting worse as he gets bigger, and when you combine that with the fact that I have the worst heartburn ever, no longer fit in any of my clothes, can't bend over without it hurting, move 10x slower than normal, keep getting those looks and insensitive comments from strangers, and a million other joys of the third trimester, I'm pretty miserable these days.  Sorry for whining, I keep repeating to myself, ''only 34 more days to go, only 34 more days to go.''  In one sense I'm not ready and wish time would slow down, but at the same time I'm SO DONE being pregnant and can't wait for it to be over!

Lol, I am so with you honey!  I want to savour this last pregnancy as I'll never experience it again, but I am soooooo very uncomfortable, I just want to get my body back.  My heartburn is awful, and am drinking tons of gaviscon every day, and it's driving me crazy how often this baby gets hiccups because bubs is so big now that it goes right through me.  Like you say though, only 4 more weeks to go, yay! xxx
