Has anyone who has giving birth in the past year, met their weight loss goal yet? I am doing well, I am 4 1/2 months post-partum and still have 7 pounds to go. This was baby #4 and I am in my mid 30's now. I am finding it much more difficult this time around. The pounds definitely came off sooner and easier when I was in my 20's. But I am happy with my progress thus far :)

I don't have a picture, but I'm 6 months pp with baby #2, in my mid-30s and have reached my goal. I wanted to lose 20 pounds by tomorrow (6 months pp exactly), and I'm around 22 pounds down. I'd love to lose another 5 or so, but that may be a little too skinny for me. I'm 5'5" and now weigh 125, which is smaller than I've been in a long time.

That is great Blonde Baby! This time has been slow and steady for me. I actually gained 40 pounds this pregnancy which was about 10 pounds more than I wanted to gain. It's good motivation for me to know that you are also in your mid 30's and did it in 6 months!!!

I don't have any pics either.  I'm horrible at doing that stuff.  But my Charlotte is just a little bit younger than yours and I'm back at pre-preg weight.  I gained about 50lbs and lost 53lbs.   I'm 123 at 5'5.   I'd like to be 119lb.  I still feel like my skin is kinda loose, so I'm waiting until the six week mark to really seen the final damage.    I've ran most of the weight off, but now I've started p90x to see what I can do to my body now.  Oh, 30 years old here.

YOu look amazing!!  So cute!

After having the baby, I was about 10 pounds over my pre-pregnancy weight (I gained 30 pounds during pregnancy), so my goal was to be 10 pounds less than that. I did it by exclusively breastfeeding, keeping to 1800 calories per day, and doing either step aerobics or zumba classes for an hour 5-6 days a week. At first I was doing the elliptical type machines, but that is so boring, so I started the classes at the Y. Love love love the zumba classes. They really whittle your waist!

Chloe&kids... That's wonderful! And in record time too!!! I am a little frustrated with how long it is taking this time around for me, but at least it has been a steady loss albeit slow.... I have been working with a personal trainer, so I know that at least a little of it is muscle weight.... I hope! ( or at least that is what I tell myself,,,LOL)

When I came home from the hospital, after delivering an 8 pound baby... I weighed the same as when I went in. Not even a pound less. I didn't think that was mathematically possible.. but the doc said it was fluid retention... Lucky me.... NOT. (hehe)

No pics, but I am 5 pounds off my pre pregnancy weight and DD is now 8 months....

This time around it has been very hard to lose the weight- with DS1 it was gone in about a month, and DS2 I was back to my pre pregnancy weight of 125lbs at around 4 months.

These last 5 lbs will not shift- any advice? I'm trying to eat well, and have cut out a lot of junk, and since we don't have a car we do tons of walking and still nothing!

Those last 5 pounds are the worst.  Seriously find some kind of aerobic exercise.  You have to get your heart pumping for 45 minutes or so, like 5-6 times a week.  It will come off.  I'd also suggest counting your calories too.  See how much you are eating, and see if you can cut anything out.  Also, are you breastfeeding?  Some people can hold onto 5 pounds or so while they are still breastfeeding.

Ok, so just a silly picture to share.  We were bouncing my 3 year old and his friend on the trampoline.  I don't have a good one showing my weight loss.  But, I'm 5'5", 120 lb, and have lost almost 30 pounds since having my baby a year ago.  I pretty much only do Zumba classes for an hour 4 times a week.

Oh, and I seriously just bought a pair of shorts from American Eagle that are a size 00.  They may run big, but most of my clothes are a size 2 now, and those even are baggy.  I don't think I have worn that size since I was 15.
