I think this is a great idea! i've noticed that people are not posting as much lately. I can guess due to being totally fed up of being pregnant as that's how I'm feeling!
I'm not getting much sleep at all now, the trips to the toilet are getting ridiculous now, I may as well sleep in the dam bathroom! and the heartburn is terrible. I had to take 6 gaviscon tablets last night just to keep the acid down, yuk! I've also kicked dh onto the sofa so I can have the whole bed to myself, I think he was secretly glad as I'm keeping him awake getting up to the toilet not to mention burping with heartburn all night, lol
I'm trying to keep myself busy as these last few weeks are really dragging now :( so I'm going to get my hair cut today, figured I may feel a little better if my hairs a little tidier, lol. I've got a MW app tomorrow, I've hardly seen her this pregnancy, must be due to it being my fifth!
I'm trying to focus on getting everything ready for christmas so I know it's all done before the baby is here, so spent last weekend wrapping up presents at my mums, oh my poor back was killing after wrapping for 6 hours! I'm really hoping he's not late as i do not want to be in hosp over xmas and I know I will have to be in a couple of days due to having gbs in last pregnancy so they monitor the baby a little while afterwards. I'll be so upset if I miss my boys opening their xmas presents on xmas day! anyone else worried about this??
Is anyone planning to try any natural methods to get labour going? I might have a go after next weekend as I'll be 37 weeks (term) then, but to be honest I've tried them all before and none of them worked in fact, my last son was a week late and the only one I tried it with. I ate loads of pineapples, raspberry leaf tea, curries, sex you name it! only thing I was too cautious to try was castor oil as I'd heard you shouldn't do this now as it can cause baby to pass meconium which could be dangerous, don't know how true that is as it was common course years ago for preg ladies to do this to induce labour, the mw's recommended it and my mum did it but I thought it just wasn't worth the risk due to what I'd read.
Well, good luck ladies, I can't wait to hear news of the next dec baby to be born!!
