Chicken Butt Boy Club Grads- Check in! I miss you!

It's okay, I don't mind answering all the questions..LOL. I stopped the bsd after confirmed O. However, I did increase my potassium and sodium through food (even higher than the recommended in the TTC Boy E-Book) during the week we were going to TTC and for the 2ww. I did not cheat on the diet until I got a BFP. I heard that putting the baby boy socks inside of your sock and then under the mattress is supposed to work. I really wanted twin boys, so I put two outfits and one pair of baby blue socks in one of my socks and another baby blue pair of socks in another sock under the mattress. I left them there until today :)

I just know there are more blue beans from you gals

WANTA!!!! Then, did it again this morning and it was almost 8. weird, i know i'm naturally acidic and when my CM was going alkaline my wee was still acidic. haven't checked since a few days after conception and it was also 7.25 (which i was thrilled with as i'd heard somewhere that if you test a few days after coneception it is a good gender test) but then read a thread about urine ph being total bulls*t so i thought i threw the strips away. guess the swayer in me kept them! ANYway just coincidental as I know you've had bubbles and alkaline wee. I'm such a natural born fighter, I've somehow decided i'm NOT giving up til that baby is in my arms...! I also had blue booties under the mattress...and even put a picture of Ian's Dad who unfortunately died in 2005 when I was PG with dd1. He was an amazing father to DH and I know that is so much of the reason why DH has GD...partially mixed up feelings about his dad's passing which he didn't really deal with at the time. And every Sunday, from when dd3 was born we light two candles at Church - one for DH's Dad and one for our hope and dream of a blue bundle. Come on God, are you there...? Maserati dont give up until you hold the baby in your arms. If your urine ph is 7 or 8 then there's still hope it's a boy. Right i'm now going to obsess over Wanta's sway, haha!

you are sorta my guru...for some reasons i so knew and wanted to hear that BLUEE. i keep obsessing over ur sway time and again..lol

some qs if you are upto it.....i did not see you taking any Gelatin? also u did all three diets? did u eat beans....i am eating sprouted beans as i do not eat beef and cannot not have chicken much as its acidic. what are the few most rich potassium,sodium foods? Did u try soy by any chance?

Aqua, my baby's HB at 6 week was 128, at 10 weeks it was 168 (thought for sure girl...lol) and at 18 weeks I think it was about 154 or so. My girls were always between 148 and 160. Plus, I have heard women saying their son's HB's were like 170 and above, so I don't if I believe in that OWT, but I do think the urine pH is more accurate than anything else. From reading all the urine pH polls they all point to it being a good predictor of gender.

The girls are very excited, but what's funny is my 5 yr old has always referred to the baby as her baby brother..she would even tell people that she was having a baby brother and I would have to say we don't know and you could have a sister. She would of course, roll her eyes at that thought. .

Maz, I definitely would not give up hope. When is your big u/s? I don't know if I know a single gal on here who has had a pH above 6.5 and had a girl. According to that poll I did, someone had or is having a girl with frothy bubbly wee, so I wouldn't put too much into the bubble theory I guess? Maybe the baby had the goods tucked up and it appeared girly? FX crossed for you :)

So, when is everyone's big scan?

Cemas, I did not take Gelatin or COT. I felt that the lemon water, hot &spicy V8 and BSD were enough. I also drank a pineapple banana smoothie every morning (I added ice, pineapple juice and 3 bananas to the blender) I did not eat beans and I stayed away from soy because I read on a lot of other sites that women were having girls from taking soy isoflavones, so it was on my no no list. I wrote down foods from the diets then, I basically googled high potassium foods and made a list of the top foods (potatoes, tomatoes, dried apricot, avocado are a few I remember) . I then made sure that I generously added sea salt to the top potassium foods and ate those every day without fail. I also made a list of low potassium foods and DID NOT consume ANY of those foods, and I stayed away from calcium and magnesium. I looked over the diets, but saw some things that IMO would not be good for the boy diet, like corn, so I scratched those from the list. I made it my job, really...LOL. I also thinking doing the max BSD in those 2 weeks before we DTD helped a lot. Before that, I was doing 3 - 4 BSD/day. I will try to find my list and pass it on to you :). Also, IMO, I would NOT use an IC after you DTD. I just propped my hips up for 2 hours with my laptop and cell phone on my belly. I slept with my cell phone on my belly and the vibrator in the bed (that was an accidental use of ions because the only reason I slept with it in the bed is because I didn't want DH to know i used it for my Big O while he was in the shower ). For the next two days, I tucked my cell phone in my panties... Along with the BSF every 3 hrs. (I did have to do a BSF occassionally in the car since we were running errands, but you do what you have to do..lol) Honestly, I think it was the diet, the supps and egg white that really helped me. I know for sure that when I conceived my DD's, I did not have any EWCM and I was soooooo acidic.

Mas I'm really curious to know when your next scan is! I love your post this am ... such sweet reasons for wanting a little fellow. I'm keeping hope alive until your doc give a 100% girl opinion.

When we do grocery, I was getting like 14-18 bananas (2 for me a day and for DD whenever she wants), DH was shocked to see that many bananas. He hates them. He's like "Are there any monkeys at home?" lol

Thanks for the inputs on HB Maz and WLM. I guess if the HB is really high like > 175 that it would def be a girl. Mine was 182 and my nephew it was 150-160.
