would it be really weird to put coat hooks in the hall way from the living room to the bed rooms. We have a walk out house, you walk out the front of the house where our coats normally are, then you go upstairs to the main living area.. living room, bed rooms, kitchen and you walk out to the back yard from there. The house is recessed into a hill so the only stairs is inside from the basement to the upstairs. All summer fall and spring we use the back door to go in and out. Once the snow flies we use the front door. So for the days with no snow yet cold enough for coats, we are using the back door and everyone is throwing there coats on the kitchen floor. The only place I can put a coat rack is in the hall way. Would that be to tacky?
