pattern for crochet baby beanies

Do any of you have some cute patterns. My MIL loves to crochet and said all she needs is a pattern I like. I've went to etsy. And have found beanies I like but then when I try to find the pattern for the beanie. Nobody is selling the pattern. I also want to make a striped pixie elf hat for the baby photos but again am having trouble finding patterns. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks Ladies :)

I would also like patterns but for knitting if anyone has them! Thank you. I'm having my DS2 in a few weeks and living in the uk I don't want him getting a cold head:-)
