my waters broke 18th october while watcing eastenders. had to go to hospital to be checked. was sent home to see if i went in2 labour naturally within 24 hours. i didnt so i had to go back in at 8.30pm 19th oct to be induced.
had 1 pesary .it made the contractions start but they just kept coming and going. had to wait until 11pm the next night which was the 20th to be put on2 the drip to get me started. had to wait over 24hours as the labour ward was manic.
went down to the labour ward where i went on the drip at about 11pm. by 2am i was starting to push. was so proud of myself as i was only doing it on gas and air. got to 10cm and started pushing my baby out when they saw meconium come out of me. only to realise that he was bottom first.
they had undiognosed my baby being breech. so i was sent for an emergancy c-section. abit disheartening after i had done so well and was there pushing. they struggled to put the spinal tap into my back as i was having the urge to push and as you all know you cant stop that urge.
but kian george malpass was born into the world on 21.10.10 at 3.33am weighing 8lb 5oz. i was in love instantly.
he is no bother at all. and his 2 sisters are smitten.
