ugh I wish Emily would take one! I've tried all different kinds.. She won't even hold her own bottle and she's gonna be 1 in five weeks.

 Chloe never took a bottle and I bought a ton of sippy cups before we found one that she would take.

It really just depends on her mood, lol. She been only wanting the munchkin the last couple of days. Since the Nuby has a thicker straw, it seems as though she wants to chew on it more than she drinks. 

 

Edit: Okay, I was just reading about the Munchkin cup on Amazon and they say it's for kids 2+... Chloe loves it though, lol. If she'll drink from an adult straw, I would assume she'd love this cup too. 

I'll be of no help as we have different brands in the UK. Miss E has drunk from a straw cup from about 3 months (for water)and briefly used bottles from 2 to 4 months for milk feeds but the went on to cups. She hasn't seen a bottle since 4 months. She won't pick the darn cup up though, lazy mare. She'll happily pick up the straw cup to drink out of though. Go figure. Good luck with introducing it.x

 L is convinced that the sole purpose of a sippy cup is to bang it against his highchair tray.  He can't figure out how to drink from it for the life of him. 

I gave up on the sippy cups.  He likes a straw sippy better, but actually gets mad if I put liquid in it.  He just wants to suck and chew on the chewy straw without getting anything to drink.  I just gave him a cup instead.  He took to it right away too!!  I gave it to him at about 8 months(?).  I put up video of him using his cup a while back.

 Luella uses the same type her brothers  do. with the hard lid. She sees them use it.  If they leave it on the living room floor, she's like a rocket to get  it and steal their juice, LOL.  She holds it up and everything, don't ask me how.  My boys took FOREVER to learn to use it.  I guess it helps that she watches her brothers do it.  She's never had a bottle either, so that makes it easier too.  Everything is straight from the boob for her highness, LOL.

 Yea, even my 2 year old is bad the the straw kind. The Nuby brand has some with soft lids, for cheap too.  My boys always started with those!! They are great!
