Who uses Rockin' Green detergent and do you like it?  Do you use the scented or unscented?  Is the smell strong?

I love it, I am using both Classic and Hard. I have gotten Watermelon, Raspberry and Orange-I didn't care for the orange but like the others. The smell is not too strong at all and rinses completely clean.

I've been using the Hard unscented and the Soft Rock unscented and I'm on the fence.. not sure it does any better than the Charlie's or the Crunchy Clean. (all 3 of them don't seem like the greatest to me Confused Huh? but cd detergents baffle me I've yet to get a good pattern down..)

As far as the scented we tried samples of raspberry and orange and they completely rinse out- not too strong at all. Agree

It depends which day you talk to me... I think the sun is helping the most. I swear after a cold rinse and 3 washes my diapers still smelled like poop this morning!!! I ended up washing them in a little tide! It was cloudy today so i wasnt going to get to sun them...

I LOVE my Rockin Green.  Smells so yummy, and works great.  I alternate every load between Rockin Green and Tide Free, and it works  perfect for me.

Ok a couple weeks later I think I'm liking it better now that I do an extra hot/warm rinse at the end. Maybe that's the key- although supposedly you shouldn't have to...

An extra extra rinse? LIke one in addition to the one you are supposed to do?

I reread the directions and I guess it does say double rinse after the regular wash..hmm for some reason I thought RnG was touted as being a clean rinsing formula. Doh! Guess it's clean rinsing after you rinse and rinse some more. LOL

I am essentially doing 3 regular washes, which is why when people ask me if cd'ing saves $ I have to say I'm not sure. Our water bill has almost doubled. Here's what I'm doing, my regular wash has a rinse at the end:

1 regular warm wash no detergent

1 regular hot wash w/3 TBS detergent

1 regular warm wash no detergent

So my top loading machine is filling completely full 6 times yikes!! They don't seem clean to me otherwise though...Anyone else using a ton of water?

Good lord woman! 6 times, Yikes, maybe i am not washing enough!
(Thanks Brandi!)
I rinse the diapers in cold water in the sink next to the washer and then toss them in. Then run a Hot/Cold cycle with 2 Tbsp of Hard RnG. Extra rinse. Clean and fresh.

I know it's ridiculous right? It's what the RnG directions say to do...This has me thinking, maybe I'll try going from a full load of water to 1/2 and see if they still get as clean...
