How are you?

How is everyone's recovery going?  I'm 5 weeks out and started spotting again!  Seems like af is starting.  I can't believe it because I am breastfeeding her and af didn't show up until ds2 was 8 months when I was bfing him!  I was hoping for the same this time.   Otherwise, I am feeling pretty good.  Emma is sleeping fairly well at night, so I can't really complain there.  How are you all feeling? 

That is unusual ...usually af doesn't come until at least 3 months after delivery, esp. while breast feeding. I had a C-section and was bleeding for 2 weeks, then stopped , then restarted after another week and right now I have very mild spotting (I'm 4.5 weeks out) . My doc says its normal to bleed up to 6 weeks. Maybe it's just PP bleeding still?

Otherwise, I'm feeling pretty good. My baby wakes up every 2 hrs.....so not much sleeping going on at my house...lol.Especially for me since I am breast feeding.  But otherwise, everything is great. I am finally getting used to the fact that I have a DD ...and my boys too. I do feel  bit overwhelmed now with 3 but thank God DH is helping out a lot.

I am only 1 week 2 days PP and still bleeding of course.  One day I feel great, next day I feel like I can barely walk..its either my insides or my pelvis.  Can you actually make yourself bleed more if you don't take it easy?

Baby is sleeping atleast 4 hour stretches at night, twice he slept 8 hours and one of those nights I got to take advantage of that 8 hours.  Not last night though.  I am sooo sleepy and I got a cookout to go to and company coming over tonight.

Feeling amazing!  Baby was 6 weeks on Friday.  She hasn't sleep more than 2 hour stretches so I'm not getting sleep, but I've never required much.   Eating healthy and exercising again.  In fact I'm running at 10k (6.2 miles) in 13 days.  I'm so happy not to be pregnant anymore!  Although the three kid thing is H-A-R-D!

I stopped bleeding around 12 days PP, and haven't had anything yet.

Wow. Can you help me start running again? I gained SIXTY pounds with this little guy ohmigod, I feel like your avatar :) I'm still bleeding, 4 weeks PP bu it's the dark red blood (sorry TMI). I had a csection but it isn't much. I think you stopped bleeding so early because you're in such good shape. My little guy likes to party from 12:00AM-4:00AM. Ugh!! But I'm doing well with two at home surprisingly. We decided to keep my daughter our of daycare until I go back to work. SOME days I wish I could just have the baby around, but its saving up $500/month. I feel badly, too, because she has SO MUCH FUN at daycare. Two of her cousins go to the same one so I'm feeling guilty, but she loves to be at home with her mommy. Good to see some of you back!! I was getting lonely!! 

Feeling great here! Kinda sleepy even though Imogen only has me up once a night now. Bleeding is almost gone thank god!! Breastfeeding is going so well! Although i think Imogen likes it abit too much!!! Having 2 kids is so much easier than i thought it would be. She is such an easy baby she has just slot right into our little family :)

I am feeling awesome. Almost 5 weeks out now. I am STILL bleeding off and on, mostly dark red. This was the same with my last as well. I really hope I don't start my period anytime soon since I am bfing. My baby is doing great. She wakes up every 3 hours but sleeps from about 12 until 6 in the morning... not bad. I have started online classes, and between my fifteen credits, newborn and 21 month old I have been exhausted. It is soooo hard, although I have to say I completely expected it. Other than that, life is great!

I am just over 2 weeks PP.  Things are going well. Bleeding is nearly done and Ryder is an awesome baby!  He usually has a 5 to 5 1/2 hr stretch through the night and goes every 3 hrs through the day nursing.  The four kid thing so far has not been hard at all, busy of course, but how can it not be with that many kiddos.

You are DEFINATLY NOT a failure!! I had the same problem with my little one and she has only just started to latch on straight away for the last few days. Sometimes it still takes her a couple of attempts. Remember baby is new to all of this too and it may take a little while to get used to it! Dont give up!!!! x

Wow. that's awesome. The past 2 nights Mia has done a few 4 hr. stretches through the night and 3 hr stretches during the day (she was feeding every 2 hrs. before that!) so we've had a couple nights of rest. 5 hrs. would be awesome though!

Having 3 kids actually threw me for a loop! Thank God DD is mostly sleeping right now. DS2 is giving me a hard time with pre-school. He goes 3 days a week and HATES it. It breaks me heart to drop him off but since we are a mostly Spanish speaking household....he needs to learn more English and socialize. DS1 just started Kindergarten and is loving it. I guess we'll just take it one day at a time and keep praying .

Sometimes it still takes her a couple of attempts. Remember baby is new to all of this too and it may take a little while to get used to it! Dont give up!!!! x
