I just got off the phone w/ my center and asked for the price difference between GSN and the other probles and they said; "It is $6000 no matter how many probes you go with"!!!  I think they are used to dealing w/ patients who do not know how much GSN actually charges?!  I asked for a breakdown of those charges because that is just rediculous!!!!  Angry  How much is everyone else paying for their PGD and how many probes?

I actually got a couple quotes for $5000. One place actually told me $5000 for a 2 probe and $7500 for a 5 probe or 9 probe. No thanks!

If they are unwilling to budge on their PGD charge I think I am going to go with GSN just so I feel like I am getting the most for my money!  But I am hoping to get many responses on here so I can provide my center w/ their competetor's pricing Happy Wink  Please include you center's name too, if you don't mind.  Thanks!

I just got the following email in response to my request about a price breakdown:

"Our $6000 package includes; Biopsy (extraction of blastomeres), fixation, micro manipulation, culturing for blast, processing, shipping and handling.

GSN does not provide these services and will not process the sample without preparation by another IVF lab. You would then have to make arrangements to transfer your frozen embryos, prepped and sent to GSN. Please keep in mind what you would have to pay for all services and fees might be higher. Fees that were quoted by GSN do not include these additional services."

I sent an email in response asking why they charge $6000 whether it is GSN or not due to GSN charging significantly more than other probes.  "$6000 package"  LOL!  This is irritating me Angry

Yeah, the biopsy/shipping/yada yada yada is roughly $1,300 at my clinic so 5 probe FISH is cheaper than CGH.

3rd time trying to post to this message: GIVF charged $5000, regardless of # of probes. This was when I cycled last year.

It is interesting how much discrepancy there are between clinics for PGD.  So, did everyone's center charge separately for PGD and the shipping/processing?  If so, what was the cost of both, combined?
