my 6 year old dd1 hates underwear

I have tried everything to make her wear it.  Now I have to check 3 times a day to make sure she has it.  I have to carry spare underwear in my car in case we go some where and I find she isn't wearing it.  She claims she doesn't like it because it causes snuggies.  So I bought her boy shorts cut underwear.  She wore it for 3 days before stopping.  Now I understand why she hates it.. I also hate underwear.  But there are times you must wear it.  Like in a skirt!  Yes she wore a skirt to the dentist without underwear and was showing everyone her privates on accident.  Luckily I aways bring a spare pair.  I tried rewards, that didn't work.  The only thing that has worked is checking her 3 times a day to make sure she is wearing it.  I don't make her wear it to bed, because I hate sleeping in underwear myself.  My mom calls her a little nudest.  any other ideas?

 ugh.. no idea here.  My 4 year old hates wearing underwear too.  He almost never wears them.  He tells me they hurt "the little balls in his pee pee"  heheh.  I've tried boxers, bigger sizes, having him pick the underwear out himself.  nothing works.  If I force him to wear them in the morning, I find a little pair of undies hiding somewhere a couple hours later.  Maybe they'll grow out of it??

It's not just because they're boyshorts, but also those bands around the legs, kept her from getting wedgies.
