I am trying to get DD a Dora the Explorer outfit but I am confused about what size to get. On average would a size 3T fit a 2-3 year old or a 3-4 year old?

my kids always wore 3T at 3 yrs old, but DDs not there yet, so I'm not sure if she'll be "average". right now, she's almost 20 months and in 12-18 months sizes.
what size does she normally wear?
Sometimes on the way to a dream, you get lost and find a better one.

She wears 2-3 years in UK sizes, she is 21 months but is tall for her age.
if she's tall, I'd probably go with 3T already, unless she's super skinny
She is quite skinny Nothing fits her well because she has the height of a 2-3 year old but is still slim like a younger toddler. Thanks for your help. I think I will go for the 3T, then at least if it is too big she can grow into it. x
