I am looking to purchase the Graco Quattro in Emme carseat/stroller combo. I like the colors and my two boys were big babies (9 lbs - delievered day after due date and 7 lb 15 oz at 10 days early). This infant carseat goes to 30 pounds and 32 inches. Anyone have this system and can report the pros and cons and if you'd reccomend it?

Are you really going to want to lug around a 30 lbs baby in the carrier?

That is super heavy for an infant carrier, commonly they outgrow it rather than outweigh it.  As far as the brand I have had a lot of luck with Graco systems, I think they are easy and functional.  I would be surprised if they would get to 30 lbs in it (i know there is exceptions to the rules) but I think for the time you would use it they are good seats, and the strollers are nice!

Those colors are really pretty! Agree We have the Snugride 32 Quattro Deluxe set and love it. I'm a big Graco Quattro fan..  love the coffee holders, digital clock/temp monitor, big basket etc. although the ones w/time/temp are hard to find now. Here's the Rittenhouse one we have w/a couple reviews:

stroller w/one review:

I had a Graco Quattro for my 1st 2 kids, and I loved it!  It was obviously a previous model, since I bought it 6 years ago.  If you don't mind a sort of big stroller, this one is great.  Its features are awesome, and that pattern looks great. Happy

If I could get a year out of it...a bit above 20 lbs not saying I'd be carrying 30 lbs unless she's asleep? I woulnd't have to carry it far. would be nice but I also like the colors

I also love the colors on this system. But I can't find it in any of the BRU or TRU in my area.

I also like the idea of the seat going up to 30lbs. My kiddos have always reached the 20lbs mark by 7-8 months, so I had to move them to a regular convertable seat then. They didn't outgrow the infant seat in length though. I also wouldn't be carrying a baby that big in the carrier, unless she was asleep.

I bought this car seat and stroller for my daughter in 2008.  I absolutely loved it.  I used it until she was almost 18 months.  She was small and didn't hit 20 lbs until 15 months.  The pattern is adorable, it washes extremly easy.  Snaps in and out of the base and is a breeze to use.  It's really not that heavy and it's not like you lug your kids around in it when they get real heavy anyway.  Material was great and very breathable.  I've read complaints about sweating in the material but I never had that problem and I had her in the summer.  It fits nicely into the stroller.  Stroller isn't as easy to clean the material but is manageable with a little work. I'm looking for another one now that I'm having a boy, my husband says no pink and purple flowers or butterflys for boys! :)
