I've had DD's pierced for a while. I left the piercing earrings in for a long time. I finally changed them to another pair of cute little pink hearts. But somehow she managed to get one out. Are screw backs best? Where do all you fellow ear piercers buy for your daughters?

After some trial and error, I've learned to purchase only the piercing earrings. They lock/snap in place and have yet to have any problems losing any backs or earrings. I buy them from Piercing Pagoda.

IMO, no. I left DDs in for a long time too, then when I finally changed them to screw backs, she lost the back to one very shortly after. never have found that back Doh!

I started buying piercing earrings from Walmart, as someone here suggested that's what I use. They have lots to choose from and I figure when I buy all the ones there that I like, I'll move onto another store with different ones.

I too recommend sticking with piercing earrings. One, they lock so much better, and two, they are most likely still very hypoallergenic so it won't cause irriatation/allergy,

I have found some cute flower ones for 1/4 of the cost of piercing pagoda at this ebay store. They are great and shipping is so fast.

Wow, these are much cheaper--and there are some cute ones--thanksHappy I boght some disney brand from kohls. Cute and reasonably priced (on sale), but they just have the regular back (which is what DD can get off). I hadn't even thought of walmart--maybe I'll give it a try. I see disney brand on their website (like what I just bought). Do they have other options in the store?

Kayla never touches hers so I buy earring from clairs or where ever I find cute little earings. I only put the bell shaped backings on tho. I just like how they fit.

Our DD's wear tiny little gold hoops from Icing, the kind where the back snaps in the other side of the hoop...they've worn this kind since their ears were pierced 6 yrs. ago.... looks super cute and nothing to fuss with, more comfortable when sleeping too.

I love the look of earrings in our 6 month old.. absolutely precious!! I have a few pairs that were given to us as gifts that seem to stay on just fine. I love the little pink ladybug earrings that are shown halfway down the page here. So cute!!!!!!
