Currently my DD is sharing a room with my oldest DS and up until recently it has been working out fine...but now she is waking up way too easy..she wakes as soon as he goes in there to go to bed and wakes in the morning when he gets up, etc and she doesn't wan to go back to her own bed...the plan has always been to renovate our attic into a large bedroom and a storgae room or two smaller bedrooms and a storage room and the older 2 boys were going to move up there...curently DS #2, 3 & 4 share a room..its a good size room with a single over double bunkbed, the two younger sleep on the bottom, they are 6 & 8...the DS#5 has his own room and he would eventually move into the room with #3 & 4...and DD would move into his room...and the room that DS#1 and DD are in right now would become a tv room for the kids since you have to walk thru it to get to the attic...and since the attic is no where ready for kids to move into..not even started...we need to do something now...DS#1 has agreed to have us move DS#5 into his room with his little toddler bed...so I was thinking about decorating the room for DD...shes 16 months and I can't decide how to decorate it...do I decorate it as a nursery or as a little girls room?? I was thinking of pink, purple and green either way, but what shades...do I go with light pink, light purple and a sage green, or do I go with bright pink, dark/bright purple and bright green?? I am going to be covering the bottom part of the wall with paintable bead board because its an old farm house and the plaster is falling apart, etc, plus i like the way it looks...so what are everyones opinions?? any other suggestions would be considered!! thanks!!
