 Aw, congratulations on your 2 new additions, they are absolutely beautiful. I admire you for your strength in adopting these special children. I don't think a lot of people would be willing to adopt the little ones. They look happy and healthy and that's all that matters. Very proud of you

OMG I am so SHOCKED!!! But super happy for you!! what beautiful children!! I LOVE!!!!! their names Vaughn is sooo COOL it is one of my fav boy names. Evelyn is also a girl names I really like, (not as much as Vaughn though) but I can understand if you don't want it. I like Sarah more than Evelyn but I LOVE Sadie and she looks like a Sadie LOL She does look like an Evie too though or an Eve??? Anyways. WOW Seegal I think WAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY back when we were ttc "a girl" back in the day when we weren't moms of really that many... hey 3 seems small now, and how your your path has come since then. Your desire for a daughter truly lead you to a calling much larger than just having "a girl" Congrats girl, I truly have enjoyed watching your family grow, each and every individual unique child at a time. :) both bio and adopted. I wish I had it in me to raise more children because adoption has always pulled at my heart strings... and yet I just don't have anything left in me to raise more than the 6 I am right now. Hats off to you, you are doing what I wish I had the patience for. (and I would want boy/girl if I was adopting now too :) perfect pigeon pair LOL)

Congrats they are so beautiful my grandma who passed away years back name was Evelyn I think that is such a pretty uncommon name Evelyn and Vaughn how happy we all are for you!!!

Thank you guys! I really am so excited!! Everyone's reactions were that of shock, I spoke to Angie last night and she actually strated laughing!! LOL (But I think Tracy was my fav, she was just lke "WHAT??? Send pics!" Hehe!

I still am in a daze. Every time I pass  my fridge, where their pics are I have to stop and get wide eyed. (Are those my kids???) Am I really getting 2 little ones? Did they really say "yes" and are letting me adopt them? I was so set on older kids and going domestic, I never thought...!!!

I have to type up what relaly happened here. Ashli has a huuuuuuuuuuuuuuge part to play in this! It is all her fault (Luv ya Ash! And I am getting itchy for you to announce your news...)

I recently found my sister after she was adopted 16yrs ago and one of the things she really hates is that her name was changed, she feels it was her identity & it shouldn't have been changed because the name that everyone knows her by now isn't her true name. I'm sure you've thought it through lots but just thought I would give you the perspective of someone who is now grown up & had her name changed.

I definitely appreciate all input! My firsr name was not changed but my middle one was and I have to say I wish it was changed LOL. My step sister was adopted from Korea and my stepdad kept her middle name what her first name was, and believe it or not she got it legally changed because she said it meant nothing to her. I did change Abby's because I found out her bmom did not name her, the agency did.

It is a huge discussion with adoptive parents (and adoptees). Honestly, I would keep Evelyn (DH wants to, he said to make it Eve) but I knew someone with that name and I truly dislike her :( Maybe I will just keep it as a middle name (Sarah Evelyn?).

Anyway, thank you for letting me know, I will give that some thought! :)

I know what that's like! We've always agreed on Ethan as a name for a boy but since we're now having a boy my best mate keeps on about how she doesn't like the name because there's a nasty kid called Ethan at her sons school. It didn't bother me at first but now she keeps on about it everytime I mention the name & it's really putting me off!! Then my husband said he likes Jake but I know a boy called Jake who is an absolute handful!!

My sister's adoptive parents called her Lilly Victoria instead of just Limara, so I don't think it's too bad. But in england EVERYONE is calling their girls Lilly now.
