I am very happy to be joining Rein&Sonshines as the co-forum leader here. I hope that together we can help this forum be the supportive and informative forum it can be.
A bit about me: I have 3 children, my DS1 is 8 years old and is "twice exceptional" which in his case means that he is both gifted and has ADHD. He has been an incredible challenge since he was about 2 years old. From the age of 2 to 6 he would have explosive and violent raging temper tantrums. He is a VERY intense child and though the explosive temper is gone (for the most part) the emotional intensity, chronic inflexibility, frequent negativity and ADHHHHHHHD (HHHHHH = WAY hyper! 
) remains. He is currently on his 4th ADHD med in the past 1-1/2 years since he was diagonosed and I am doing my best to work with his Dr. to get the med dosage correct.
DS2 was not the easiest child either, but he doesn't appear to have ADHD at this point.
My DD is nearly 7 months old and thankfully, she is a lovely, laid back and happy baby.
I am also a elementary school teacher, though I am currently not working and am staying home with my kids.
I hope I can offer support, encourage and any needed advice to any special needs moms joining us.
