I had my baby on Friday. We were at the hospital at 5 AM, we did paper work and I was sent to labor and dilevry room. They put me on IV. Around 6 I started feeling some bad cramps, I thought it was gas but the nurse said I was contracting. The monitor showed them 5 mins apart and went upto 100 on the monitor. I was like wow, he was meant to come on the 26th :). The anesthesiologist came at 6:40 and took me to OR. They gave me anesthesia there and my doc arrived around 6:50. At 7:37 baby came out. We didn't have named finalized even then. since he arrived 7:37 he is affectionately referred to as “Jet”. Right after I saw him I couldn't sop crying. I just wanted to hold him but they showed him to me for a quick sec and then took him to nursery for bathing and weight. We are home now. He is feeding and sleeping very well. We are over the moon. Such a blessing.
