I am ordering this bedding for my baby boy#3. It is being custom made by a lady on etsy (I love that website!). I am trying to decide what material to use for the inside of the bumper. My options are: sock monkey material (same as outside of bumper), solid red minky, solid brown minky, or cream minky. For those who aren't familiar with minky, it is a faux fur type of material with raised dots as a pattern (but all one solid color). I have a white crib so I am thinking definitely no to the cream. Also, I am not going to use the cream crib sheet but rather buy a red one or brown one. I am open to any suggestions on how to change things around so it looks best (since she is doing a custom order). THANKS!!! So, here is the bedding, what do you think:

I think your material is cute, but isn't the Minky similar to fleece?  I thought u shouldn't use fleece etc until baby was older, as they can't regulate their own body temp?......

I use only cotton sheets or terry, and cellular or crochet blankets until a year old, or a gro-bag if baby is a wriggler!

Like the idea of red tho......I have all white and pink this time  Happy

I really like it.  A red crib sheet would look great!

I would do brown minky, and get both a red and a brown sheet. That way you can trade off when you change them.

I think I would like the red for the inside.  The only thing with dark sheets is they show everything- any liquid shows up when dried.

Believe in dreams, they do come true.
Ours came dressed in blue!

Love it. But I think I would do a cotton instead of minky on the bumper pad. And maybe add some minky pillows for looks when the baby wasn't in the crib if you wanted to add texture.

Taking an IG break

My best wishes to all TTC and congrats to all that get their babies
