any day now...induction now on 2nd March

Good luck for Tuesday Tam, how are they inducing you, are they going try the pessaries first or plant you straight on the drip.the pessaries didnt work for me 1 every 6 hours for three goes didnt get me going but once the drip was in i had DS3 in 1 hour, he was my best birth out of all four of mine.

If you are still sore hun, have you tried sudocrem x

yeah ive been using the sudocream, actually got abit more sleep last night, i dont know they havent discussed with me how but im going to ask to go straight to the drip...cos i cant be doin with faffing around with pessaries xx

im having mild contractions about 4 per hour...just hope they build up and get closer together but bet they dont....

 I bet you have a quick labor, what with all the contractions and having had your water broken for this long. Little Maddie's labor only took 3-4 hours and pushing was only 3-4 mins lol. I'm KMFX for you that everything goes fast and smooth and that your little lady is healthy and absolutely perfect. I soooo can't wait to see pics, for more than one reason.

 Mainly because I've been around this forum with you all since I was 8wks p, and I want to hear everyone's birth stories and see all of your beautiful little babies.

 And then selfishly because I am dieing to know if Madalynn is doing well size wise compared with the babies due around the same time as she was. Then later on, if anyone is still around when we get moved over to the parenting board, I'd like to see if she's keeping up with everyone. I worry myself about her development too much, at this point she's supposed to be in-utero still, so I'm trying not to think about it, but I haven't had any other babies, so I have no idea how long it's supposed to be for her to start smiling at people and/or laughing, that kind of thing.

ahhh poku i think milestones are roughly the same.....how maybe add on 2 weeks...so around 8 weeks old she should be smiling....how old is she now?

 5 weeks on Monday. She smiles every now and then, but not at anything in particular, I think it's just gas lol. She's just now starting to make eye contact, she can hold up her head for short periods of time, so idk, she seems like she's still a newborn? I know even if she is a bit delayed that they say she'll catch up by 2yrs old, but I'm just curious if she is going to be or not, iykwim?

it all sounds just right for me....but i know how you feel, the worrying will never stop now....if you see her smile and both sides are up then she's smiling....gas usually only makes one side go up .....thats with my children anyway....xx

 You and I are both due on the 25th, and I have an induction scheduled for the 4th as well -  how funny.  I don't know if I'm going to make it until then, but we'll see.  Lots of contractions and dialated to 4 1/2.  Still, baby can't seem to make up her mind, so it's a waiting game.  Best of luck to you!

i thought i'd updated again when i seen my consultant on Friday she changed the date to 2nd March at 8.30 am....

so ONLY 2 days t go YAY......

 I can't wait....so happy for you...and sooooo jealous...just this morning my husband was like can you just have her already and lets get on with this..of course I was thinking what's your big hurry not like he is doing anything...but I am for sure no longer having any fun..

 OH wow! Congrats on the new date Tam, 4 days feels like a lifetime when you're waiting to meet your new baby, I'm so glad they moved it up for you! YAY!

& Poku, Madalyn really is still a newborn. Trust me, she'll grow fast enough. She seems to be right on target, actually. At 5w they really are still immobile and still very newborn like- just bigger!
