using my own body heat instead of the incubator during SU?

Since my incubator killed all the sperm, was thinking about putting my SU sample close to my body, like in my pants or something, at a 45 degree angle, for 1 hour. Could that work?
I'm going to try the incubator without the refrigerator method before and also lowering the temp...so hopefully that should work.
But if it doesn't, I was wondering about this method.

Yea, my incub was sitting right at 100, so annoying. But I think body temp would work perfect, stick the thermometer between your legs and see what it reads.

that's a good idea! :)...ok, so for tonight I'll try and see if I can lower the incubator and pray that the sperm are still alive after the sort
If that doesn't work I will try my own body as an incubator ;)

Yea, seriously still, LOL. I was thinking sitting on the couch with it between your legs and pray the kids dont wake up from their naps, are start emptying the refrigerator, LOL

Yea but I had the plastic dome on it, not the metal screen.

hmm, well I'm thinking of putting on jeans with a belt (if I attempet at 3 am this is gonna be funny, lol)...and then put the tt with the SU materials in it in my wastband...at a 45 degree angle and then just sit still and watch T.V. for that hour. The first 15 min. or so, I will be looking and analyzing the sample i the scope anyway.
I think that could work right?
But first I want to see if I can actually get the incubator to stay at 98 degrees. I've just been too tired this weekend to try. Hopefully tonight or at least sometime this week I will try.
I am soooo close and really think I will be able to pull of SU/TBM...whether or not I get preggo is another story

I heated my EW in the incubator by themselves before getting the whole thing set up. I also let the sample sit for 15 mins first to liquefy. I dont know how much those came into play but mine floated perfectly too. (I should probably bite my tongue because they probably wont float next time, LOL)

Thanks sunshineslp! I know, I"m amazed that I can get my EW's to float...but hopefully it wasn't a fluke and will work again, hehe...but I hope SD works for you! :)

so glad you are able to do SU:) i will try again... maybe try SU again and do what you said, missy... what is the benefit to letting them liquify? i would think that would make them less dense and more likely to let the EW sink into them... no?

I had DH sit with TT between his legs, covered by a blanket and after an hour, spermies were still alive. So, it works!!
