Brown for a 7 yr old girls room??

my dd1 wanted a black room also.. what is up with that? she is almost 7 end of feb..

we will be redoing her room in the new year.. and she wants it black.. (we said no.. ) ( so now it will be blue with puppies everywhere )..

so I think brown and pink is lovely! if I had a nursery that is the colour I would make it.. pink and brown!

My oldest is tired of it (I am too actually although I LOVE Ava's room still) so we are adding light teal to Madisons room to give it more color. Her best friend has a red/black/white room and it turned out great!

Love the idea of pink/brown match! It never occurred to me, and thanks to OP and Eden, now I am planning for that for my DD too when we move in September! Great!

(I love that pink tree on brown wall...or maybe pink wall and brown tree?)
