I didn't feel flutters until clost to 19 weeks and they started to get stronger around 22-23 weeks.

After 1 loss and a year and a half wait, we've
finally been blessed with an amazing little girl.

Yup, same as the other ladies...with my first I didn't feel her until around 22 weeks, and I'm currently 20 weeks with my second one and I actually started feeling something a couple of weeks ago...and she is another girl.  So, just goes to show that gender more than likely has nothing to do with it.

Around 19 weeks.

It is very individual and depends on the baby's position and the placenta position, not on the gender. E.g. if the placenta is in the front (as opposed to the back of the uterus, which is more common), it cushions the movements and you don't feel them until later when the baby is bigger and kicks harder.

I felt DD (my first) at 17 weeks and she never stopped moving after I felt that first flutter, it was all that day and kept up until i had her!

With DS (my second, and last) I felt him around 18.5 weeks, felt him that night and a little the next day but then went another few weeks without feeling anything, I rented a doppler because I swore he was dead.  That happened for weeks, I would feel him a little for a day or two and then not feel anything for days!

With DD1 I felt a few flutters around week 18/19 then more at week 20 but she was not really an active baby.My second pregnancy I felt first movements around week 16/17 and it ws non stop from there on progressing to 72 hour kicking marathons everyone said it must be a boy and it was DD2! Just goes to show every baby is different! GL hon I hope you get the gender you want!

This is my first and I think I felt gas bubbles which could have been the baby at 16 weeks. 17 weeks was when I stopped doubting and realized the baby was moving. My baby is not active in the morning and moves more when I'm sitting in my computer chair (not sure if it is the position and why I feel him or her more then) and at night.
