anyone planning to jump up after bd??

So confused with what to do...don't want to do jump and dump, but might stand up after bd...but hold myself "closed" hehe.

 can you even get preggo this way?

 I don't want to get up after we're done but I ALWAYS have to pee afterwards...can't help myself...plus I have to get up and check ph and do all of that fun stuff...

I have a feeling thats how I got pregnant.. standing up in the shower and dumping after!  So I think you can definitely get pregnant after jump and dump or/and standing afterward!  HTH!

Definitely gives me more confidence about doing this now! :)  Gonna jump but not dump...like 1 or 2 min. after dtd...and hold myself closed at the same time, what a sight I'm gonna be, haha

and serenity congrats on your pregnancy! :)...but what do you mean you did jump and dump 2 days after O??  Do you mean you had a 2 day cut off and did J and D on your cut off day?

I jumped and dumped with all our attempts last month. Would go to the loo straight after and I am pregnant.

 Am planning to Jump but not dump-Am going to use Diva cup with SU and TBM...I like the theory that the tough X's will swim up and the Y's will find it harder (and hopefully knocked for six by all the lime!!)

I got my girl from frequent bedding and also i got up and pee after DTD because i used to have Urine infection so i started doing jump and dump after DTD and got pregnant with a girl the first month i did it.

Babydust your idea of holding yourself closed sounds quite interesting, i may try this myself lol x

You could also try inserting a diva cup after BD'ing...I am using one to help keep the swimmers in, but then I keep upright for a few hours so they are not right at the cervix.  I feel like it gives me a better chance to get preggo, but still makes the little swimmers have to travel through the acidic environment of the vagina....I'm not sure how much that sways boy or girl, but I feel like it's a good happy-medium for me.
