This is a new experience for me, I get cramps bad enough to keep me awake at night when I'm laying down. I've tried massaging them, sleeping with a pillow between my knees, I already drink plenty of water, I read a suggestion of taking a bath before bed to help relax your body, but since I've had my "collapsing" problem I've avoided doing that, but I do lay on a heated blanket for a while before I go to sleep. It's going to be 3 more long months if there's nothing I can do to make it stop. Fortunately it's not every single night maybe 4-5 out of 7.

Anyone else having leg cramps? And if so, i'm very sorry for you!

It is so bad sometimes I can't walk :( I can't lay down because it hurts, I have problems getting up and sitting down :(My pelvic bone hurt also. I have my app tomorrow and I will ask my doc what is this because it is getting worse :( I am afraid some day I will not be able to walk at all.Somebody had this?

I hope not, it's supposed to be a fairly common pregnancy symptom so lets hope it goes away after the baby gets here. Relief would be nice though.

Oh, that sounds awful! I found that I got them whenever I stretched my legs with pointed toes. When i flex instead of point, it seems to be far less hurtful, but it took me a while to do that without thinking... Hope everyone feels better soon!

Swayed for pink, god picked blue, due Feb 4, 2010.  arrived January 16!

I had them bad too, they were waking me up all night and I would have to get out of bed and walk around.  Nothing helped.... I tried more water, banana's ect.....

I know it sounds crazy (I laughed out loud), but my grandma told me to try unwrapping a bar of soap and  putting between the sheets and sleeping with it.  I looked it up on SNOPES and they said it wasn't disprovable... It has REALLY worked for me.  My husband looked at me like I was an idiot, but even he had to admit there was something to it because I am finally sleeping through the night (except potty trips).  Gran said her dr told her it had something to do with the sodium cloride in the soap...

Good luck.  It does suck!!!
