Do you think different sperm are adapted to different environments or do you think Shettles is correct and one is actually stronger than the other?

x and y sperm live the same amount of time and swim at the same speed. this is fact.
now y sperm and x sperm are energized or drained by minerals, ions, pH and hormones. Studies are in faq

I thought I had read it somewhere and I believe that they are equal so to speak, but it still seems commonly thought (even on here with studies that show otherwise) that we are still firm believers that XY sperm is "weak" and XX sperm is hardy. Is this purely Shettles doing? It seems his theory has imbedded itself on our beliefs of gender swaying.
one is not more weak than the other. rather you can make y sperm weaker or y sperm stronger based on many things. x sperm can be made stronger as well, but we can't make them weak
