Can you pls help me calculate O+12!?

I got my first +OPK at 10am yesterday morning then again at 3pm.  Cervix soft, low and open with ewcm (bummer!) Did another OPK at midnight and it was negative and my cm was creamier and cervix a little harder and higher.  The thing is I thought ovulation occurred anytime within 24-48hrs of your first +OPK?  But yet I seem to have ov'd in the space of 10-12 hours!?

So from this how do I calculate O+12?? Would it have been at midnight cos the shift in cervix and cm? 

Start counting the 8-20 hours when...

• Any sharp O pain has subsided.
• Your CM begins to change from EWCM to creamy or sticky.
• Your cervix begins to become less soft and high.

I think you should started counting at midnight. HTH

Thats what is sounds like.. How is your CM and cervix now?  I have read that the +OPK can be as close as 8 hours before O.  I have seen a post about other girls that have Oed on the same day as there +OPK as well.. So that is possible!  I would think that midnight would have been your O time!  Morning sounds like a great time to BD to me!! Good luck!

Ah right, I would've thought midnight was an ok time to bd, so I'm glad I asked this question!!  The only thing is this means bd'ing in the morning when sperm count is higher and if I'm at work the next day this won't work :(

Would it be ok to bd the following evening (say 7pm) or is that leaving it too late?

I'm hoping ov happens earlier in the day next time but is it likely that it will happen at the same time again?

Somewhere on this site it says you O around the same time af starts.  So if af starts around 5am you should O around 5am.

I think you Oed at midnight and add 12 hours from when you O. I wouldn't worry about it being the morning for bding if thats were you O+12 fall bd then.

   The egg is only good for (at the most) 24 hrs.  So if you did O at midnight on Saturday your egg is only good till midnight on Sunday.

one more thing I forgot to put in yesterday.  your Dh should abstain for 7+ days for O+12 to lower sperm count.  and your welcome!

I'm still a little confused as I posted this in the gold section and someone else has said that O+12 is when you notice the shift in cm and cervix.  So that would mean that O+12 was at midnight on Saturday and not 12 hours after!!??

That would mean I ov'd very quickly!  Although I guess it could've happened as when I did the OPK at midnight it was negative..but should I go by this?

I really wanna get this right!  What do you think?

 I am so glad you posted this.  I think when i read  start counting 8-20 when....anyway I was thinking you had to start counting the hours from when the cnages in cm began.  I am so sorry I mis-understood that part.  So midnight was your O+12.  

I think once you get +opk you can O any were form 12-36 hours.  I plan on going by cm and cervix position, I am not sure if we can go by when the opk goes -.  I really want both of us to get this right!!!  Are you ttc now or was this a practice cycle.  I am ttc starting in May I pray I will have all this worked out by then.
