from melbourne, need a sympathetic melb GP who can refer me to sydney IVF...Help!!!

hi there, i am all set financially/emotionally to start IVF in thailand but am from melbourne and know that i will need a referral to sydney IVF and a specialsit there. Can anyone provide me with a sympathetic melbourne GP, but i guess more so, a Sydney IVF specialist who works with Thai superior art. when i get the referral, it needs to be to the specialist who i would be seeing. I have done IVF/ICSI in melbourne at melbourne IVF and have 2 beautiful boys and will need to go through IVF again regardless of gender selection due to dh's vasectomy reversal antibodies. I remember needing a referral for an IVF specialsit at melb IVF which happened to have been reputable, but i know no specialists at sydney IVF. Can somebody here help me? THat would be WONDEFUL!!!!!! Thanks trucks and dolls for your advice; i might ask a specialst at thai superior to recommend a sydney ivf specialst, or simply email sydney ivf and ask which drs are involved with thai superior art. i'm currently waiting on an email back from thai superior art- i sent my first email asking where to go from here and my ivf history, hopefully they will get back to me soon.......

I have been trying to decide with HRC and Superiour ART. I did ring Sydney IVF this week to get a consult with a DR and I ask which doctors deal with Thailand and they said that I would have to pick a dr off the web page and ring their rooms directly and ask them. All work would go through thailand.

I have now had two call from HRC to get all my history and organise a phone consult. They have been very professional and organised so far. I have found Superiour a bit blarsay.

 

Hi, good-apples, I am from Adelaide and in same situation as you. We have just decided to go ahead with SART probably in Feb/March 2010. I think I will contact Sydney IVF first. I haven't had IVF before, my three boys are natural, so it's all new for me.
