One down, one to go! Now the fun really begins...
Today Alyssa (who is weighing in at a whopping 4lbs1oz right now!) was discharged from the NICU. Now we are just waiting on her sister (who is the larger baby - 4lb8oz right now) to keep her temperature up out of the incubator so she can join us! I already forgot how hard having a newborn at home is, though. I'm in for some tough times... I'll try to keep up with everyone on the board as much as I can but please forgive the absence I know I'm going to have pretty soon here!

Whooo hooo now the fun begins. Good job mama for cooking those babies. I'm sure it's hard having them in the NICU but honestly I wish they had kept my Georgia instead of sending her straight home with me at 4lbs3oz. It was crazy trying to take her temp and running them both in for checks those first few days. Keep up the pumping. We supplemented too for awhile since they were so tiny.

Alyssa is so tiny I can't believe I'm supposed to take care of a baby that small on my own! She is seriously smaller than the baby dolls I got for my son when we found out the babies were coming!
