Husband snipped, why do I have pg symptoms?! UPDATE

My DH went thru the Big V in June. He was cleared. No sperm in his semen. I had Reina in July, and my period in August, right on time in Sept, and then perfect timing in October.

Where the HELL is November's period?! It's now 5 days late!

At this time last year I skipped my Nov only to discover I was pg., but the major difference this time is my DH is fixed! Can they be faulty?! Anyone know if this happened to anyone IRL?! I have pg symptoms right now, NOT menstral, and I'm FLIPPING OUT.

Oh, God, please someone reassure me with some odds or something.!!!

Well, I POAS and got a FAINT positive. TOTALLY flipping out, I used the other in the kit and it was NEGATIVE (the next day, first urine of the morning). I bought yet ANOTHER Hpt, and it was NEGATIVE. I am feeling relieved but confused by the first.

I scheduled a doctor's appointment for Thursday (the first day both he and I could meet). I still have no period.

Thanks for the kind and encouraging words, as I still feel like I'm in the woods. But the 2 neg tests have made me feel a tad better.

I just found out last night that one of my best friends husbands got the V, and she is now 12 weeks pregnant with there third. Needless to say, she is VERY surprised!!!

I personally know of a couple of people who became pregnant after their DHs had the big V...  It can and does happen - sterilisation is not 100%.

If I were you I'd be thinking about taking a HPT.  Chances are you're fine and maybe just stress or hormones settling has delayed you, but you won't get peice of mind until you see a BFN (or a BFP - either way!)...  You're 5 days late, a HPT would give you a pretty accurate answer either way now...

just take a test, then you wont be worried anymore

It happened to a girlfriend of mine - 5 years after the snip.  POAS will give you peace of mind!

I don't know for sure if it was menstration bleeding, but there was a definite period of time of bleeding in August. And it wasn't afterbirth. I only bled 2 days after having Reina on 7/7, and then I was clear.

Oh, God, I can't believe how many people have heard of it happening. I am freaking the F*&$ out! We didn't want anymore. I hope after I test it's NEGATIVE. I'm going to POAS (funny, by the way, never knew what that was before). I have to wait until I have my car to get to a store.

But would 5 days after a missed period be accurate? Isn't it too early?! I don't want a false negative if I am indeed positive.

I guess I should'nt have my customary glass of wine tonight, just to be safe. I hope pps are right; stress and overtired and all that jazz screwing up my period.

My BFF had her 4th baby after her hubby got the all clear from his V.  So it's possible.  She now has her tubes tied and he got another V.

If you get a First Response Early Response you should get a great line if you are preggy and five days late.  Good luck and let us know.

 EEeeeek!! Suspense!!  And the tests can tell you 5 days BEFORE your missed period... so if it was suppose to be here by now, I'm sure something will come up, if somethings baking!!!

A preg test should be accurate 5 days late.  X my fingers for you!
