Just looked on halfords sight and when  I typed in distilled water battery top of fluid came up and this says  its de- ionised water for car batteries, ions, air con units etc surely this can't be the right stuff. But think I have heard other people mention Halfords, just a bit confused I wonder if anyone has actually used this.

I'm pretty sure that I've read on IG that Halfords stopped doing the distilled water and that Tamara said the de-ionised water was okay.  Anyone else seen that?? xx

Yeah, I posted on the old thread, the de-ionized water is fine. You can't  get distilled water anywhere....my dh looked everwhere!!

ILP and TLM, thanks for thinking of me. I'm doing OK, not hopeful this month but you know how it is...you don't believe it will ever happen until it actually does. Help girls... what is going on...

I thought I was due to O around Fri last week, I only got faint pos opk on the tue, thu and sat, so figured i may have just had too diluted urine or something when i was testing...

felt crappy late last night and thru the night, just dull crampy pain and first thing I did another o test and bang I had full blown pos opk. cervix open... what on earth. have i just o'd on cd 24?

Does that mean AF will be late too? i was expecting AF next weekend.

if thats the case i may not be able to do a ttc attempt next cycle as dh will be out of the country during fertile window, for days up to cut off and o+12... arrrgh

thanks for asking after me everyone! Yes I will find out the sex very soon, not got a date yet but it wont be far away, I'll be sure to let you all know the sex as soon as I find out.  I will be very, very nervous though.  I will bump my 12 week posts in the ultrasound forums a couple of days before the scan and just update it there.

d4d - Hi how are you doing? Oh how exciting your starting ttc so soon! I wouldn't miss xmas dinner either lol.  Yeah we are very close.  I will get my sway and post it soon.

Western - Yes I used the water from halfords that you are talking about, I asked Tamara about it first and she said that we fine.  I did try to make my own and failed miserably lol.

tlm - not long til your 12 wk scan fx for a good nub shot.

indigo - keep your chin up, I know it's easier for me to say now but try not to get too stressed...it will happen for you hun

will that mean that AF won't come until 14 days after O? or could it be shorter, I know for sure that I will have cbfm as a starting point next month and well if O is late and dh will hhave left chance will be scuppered but i just wanted to know anyones thoughts...?

I didn't test ph after i had started the diet for some time, i would say after about 3mths on diet it was 5-5.5 by the time i had been on the diet for 5mth it was at 4.5 it was at its lowest when i fell pregnant, but i really wish i had taken PH when i started diet so i knew how much it had changed as the diet was more than the complete opposite to what i used to eat i detested most dairy things and wretched with milk but i got used to it.

DH ph changed from 8-8.5 to 7-7.5 after doing the french gender diet loosley for about 2mths and he was on supps too though for quite some time

Luckily supps and changes to diet seemed to make a big difference quite quickly even with doing the diet loosely my ph is between 4.3 and 5.2, so add into that usiing lime douche and no cheating during my attempt i'm sure i can keep ph under control.

Can't do anything about dh's ph except try to entice him to eat things on diet list slyly haha

and yeah am used to some stuff, inface loving peppermint tea :)

IWALP - have no idea, I had a 25 day cycle this month and don't know what that'll mean either, will I go back to 28 days or what?  I wasn't tracking O before now so can't offer any words of wisdom, sorry!!

Right, after my excitement, the grrr ph tester won't calibrate, checked on here seems to be a common problem.  But I want to know my ph NOW NOW NOW iykwim!!?  Phoned and left a message for the 'technical guy', just hope he's as helpful as the girls found the USA branch of Hanna. Bummer.

Off to get the rest of the supps today, dh started taking his too without me asking.  I'm so glad he's on board cause I think he would notice if I had to crush them into his food

Just wondering if anyone has actually used the de-ionised water from halfords for their lime douche, worried about doing any harm. Can't get distilled anywhere, any ideas.

Hi ladies. Still on ds laptop so paragraphs probably won't work again, it does when I'm typing but not when I post it, strange. Tlm, we will be ttc May/June next year, but I am going to Glastonbury with the older boys, so don't know how I will manage to stick to the diet when I'm away, so hoping for a one hit wonder lol. Ilp, we all can't wait I think for your gender scan lol, good luck for when the time come's but going by your nub shot's it's looking promising :-) We are'nt going abroad, dh was'nt really comfortable with it all and we can't really justify spending all that money to more and likely get a bfn at the end of it iykwim. So roll on May for me lol, well if I don't get into college in Feb, I might start earlier, but I'm going to start charting, experimenting Jan. Indigo, I agree with Ilp keep your chin up, we're all rooting for you x

Yeah I have been waiting 2 hours since last drink but i am always desperate to wee by then and urine looks a lot paler than for example first wee in the morning, maybe I need to wee an hour before testing to get rid of some fluid than test an hour later??

I do think that I just ovulated on day 24 and have no idea why I would have had faint pos opks on days 12, 13,14 etc. Strange, you don't think I could have ovulated twice or anything???

Next month I plan to use cbfm for guidance and opks over o, to try and pinpoint o exactly.

Does your cervix move higher or lower during o and af?

 

llp, fingers crossed you hear pink at gender scan,

Indigo, fingers and toes crossed for you full stop something develops.

Lexy78, have a blast at Glastonbury next yr, my advice would be to pack a coolbox of stuff even if just to cancel out all the non girl diet stuff like cooked chicken, cranberries, cut up cucumber etc etc
