Is there a agency that places embryos up for adoption after they were left over from a pgd sort?  I am interested in embryo adoption only, I also interested in gender swaying.  Any good info?

i don't know what the live birth rates are for embryo adoptions though. edited to add: it makes sense that it would be same as FETs. thanks for responding ;)

I heard that the success rate was like 45% or something similar.  The same as any IVF with a frozen embryo.

snowflakes doesn't allow gender selection. I have tried to find some way to be able to adopt female embryos and haven't had any luck. It's too bad because I know there have to be girls sitting on ice somewhere out there and I'd love to give them a chance to live.

I always like to reference smokeythemom's experience -- she registered with "miracleswaiting" for girl embryos and was contacted a couple times (she has since had her own daughter).  That gives hope to those who wish to go this route Happy  http://www.in-gender.com/cs/forums/p/82904/783062.aspx#783062

hi, i wanted to say i was looking at a SART form and i see they do have rates for frozen donor embryos, it looks like.

for the clinics i pulled up on SART, it wasn't as high as for regular FETs but there are not as many of these DET cycles to give the same kinds of %s numbers.

live birth was 15% from frozen donor embryos- for all ages. and for regular frozen embryos it was about 35%.

well, the last thing i need is a lower live birth rate. this concerns me some because i thought of donor embryos as a back-up plan but it seems to be a noticeably lower birth rate than fresh ivf or FET birth rates.
