And now I have doubts..

OK, so I have been wearing my north pole magnet throughout O and after DTD and now I come across the article below. But if the polarity alternates, then the magnet will at moments attract the boy sperm. But I want the girl sperm to have a clear advantage. Oh, man this is soooooo complex! I am 16 dpo. I normally have a 10 day LP. Looks like my sway is done, but did I do right with the magnet?  All of a sudden I have terryble, terible doubts.......... I was told on here that north pole of magnets sway girl. Whish me plenty of  -dust!

ovulation/menstrual cycle .When the ovum membrane is neutral; sperms carrying
either the X or Y chromosome can unite with the ovum and fertilize it 51. During

Yikes....this does kind of confuse things a bit, doesn't it? I wonder if this article is pertaining to changing polarity only once for each cycle. Like one cycle would naturally attract X and the next cycle would naturally attract Y sperm. Doing the ion thing is supposed to help this. If it changes all the time regardless of ions then I guess we are kinda screwed.

get this! you can tell what polarity cycle you are in by your tempt! High temps mean hi progesterone which is a girl polarity cycle (- ions), low temps mean low progesterone which is a boy polarity cycle (+ ions). Like it says in facts. you will have boy cycles, girl cycles and neutral cycles. everything is linked together. but it doesn't make a pattern. you wont have boy cycle, girl cycle, neutral, boy again. but rather random. so with swaying if you are ttc a girl your trying to make your polity cycle go... girl girl girl, as often as possible. when your ions are right the easier this happens

Oh, that is awesome!! Thanks so much for that info :)...So now as long as our temps are higher than normal before O, we can be confident that at least our ions and egg polarity was right on...I would also think our hormones are right to conceive a girl also. That makes me feel a lot better...so even if I am O'ing during a FULL moon, I will know after my attempt if I was in the "right" polarity for ttc'ing for a girl and won't have to worry about that part at least. hehe.

I am also going to start with PP tea once I get AF this cycle...gonna take it for 6 weeks straight and see if it makes my temps stay higher before O. I have a good feeling that it does :)

Whew! My temps were low for my attempt. Just waiting to see if I'm pregnant!

right. but remember, even if your temps are right, polarity is right and everything lines up perfectly..... you can still get an opposite.

of course, we always have to keep that in mind and be prepared for that, after all swaying is just that,...we are only increasing our odds a bit.
But it's good to know that there is a way to informally "check" our hormone level and egg polarity. I like that a lot because after my attempt is all said and done at least I can look back and say that part of my sway was right...
