Can anyone help..... on my last attempt the EW stayed at a 45* angle even when I put the TT staright to suck the EW out.... the semen was sort of sitting on top once it was straight..... would this still have been ok to use the sample??  I sucked the EW and used what was left......  I was desperate

It is so hard to explain.  When I put the TT upright the EW stayed at an angle and the semen went on top of it so basically it is like the semen moved around the EW which stayed intact at the 45* degree angle.....  so I just sucked out the EW and what was on top of the EW and left the bottom part of the TT to insert...  not much left but at least there was a little bit.... I hope that this makes a bit more sense.

It was like that even at the 45* angle..... it just made no sense why the semen went on top with the, I guess the EW just went down the side a bit.  Was this still ok to use?  I am not even sure why I am asking as I used it but just wanting to see how much I messed up the attempt.

oh so it didnt completely flip but rather was more side by side? as long as you used the semen and not the ew (your ttc a girl right?) then that was fine.  What did the sort look like?

Yeah, pretty much with some semen on top as well....  just used the semen.

 The sort looked really good this is why I decided to use it.  The EW was full of Y's (many times we have made an attempt and it was really hard to find the Y's in the EW)  and I didn't really want to took at too much of the semen because there was such a small amount left. 

Hi girls. Sorry to add more doom but my attempt is coming up again and DH still has no / little mobile swimmers before we start our attempt. I need some good luck vibes. I am running out of energy for this. I so wanted a DD but no I just can't see it.

On that cheery note I hope you are all ok. It's fireworks weekend over here. Just had a lovely night out in our village - they do a massive bonfire and fireworks on the village green. The boys hate fireworks - but I enjoyed it!

I am so sorry That happened to us once as well and the reason was DH had done too much strenuous labour throughout that day and was not hydrated enough.....

Thanks Babybobadoo - I never thought of that! I will get him to drink lots of water today! He is having a lay in so FX things are better tonight

hi ladies i am new to egs, I have a DD and expecting a second one in April, I swayed for a boy, and then took a break and that is when i got prego, I knew it was a girl and it was, we are happy to give DD1 alittle sister, but we still want the boy, or let me say I AM still longing for that alittle blue bundle of joy. 

so I decided to do egs/msu right after I have my little girl, DH is kind of stuborn and not agreeing right now, but i am sure he will agree later on. 

I am really excited and hope it wont take me along time,

just wanted to wish all of you BFP with the gender you desire, and was wondering if any here are tryign msu for a boy right now or soon to be.? and how long have all of you been trying egs.

Welcome!!! I think most of us are TTC for a girl right now? The last two girls trying for a boy have got there BFPs now. Is that right girls? My memory isn't too good right now. It would be nice to have another person wanting a boy to join us.

maybebabythree, good luck to you and all of those ttc for a girl, girls are really nice and sweet, and i am sure boy are as well that is why i am gonna take it extreme this time. as well as pryaing extremely for that little boy to join our family

how long have you been ttcing for you little one, and how did DH react to the idea, it seems to be too much work and alot of science involved.??? that is what my DH has a problem with.

I have been TTC for four months. Two of those I was going for o+12 and totally missed my O! So only two months really. My DH was fine with EGS - I was shocked by that as I thought he would be definatly against it - think I was mad. He is happy if I am happy so I hope he stays that way as I think this is a longer path to TTC.

Yes boys are yummy! Very lovely and cuddly. I hope a girl is worth the wait for us TTCing pink!

Four month is not that long, it took me four months to concive that little one too, so i hope it is a good luck number for you to give you ur little princess, of course girls are worth the trip, i cant imagine the amonut of love my DH has with DD, he say i think the boy is gonna be for you LOL, I tell him ok fine as long as he comes :)

i wish you the best and I hope someone comes along ttcing blue as well, i will really need the help and the buddy.

It took 8 months to get DS2 just BDing all the time so this one is going to be a hard road for me! I hope this is my month but I don't think it's going to be that easy! I am doing this a lot for my DH. He talked me into a third, he wanted a DD, he planted the thought in my head in the  first place.

If you look on the first page someone is TTC a boy with EGS Giraffe? Maybe you should PM her?

oh thank you, i just saw that about Giraffe,

that is soo nice of you that you are doing this for your husband, i wish my husband would ask me to do egs, he did not even ask for this one, he said that i am the one who should decide when i want, so you could tell how hard it wil be to let him agreeing on getting a microscope and and incubator and ask him to give me a sample every month.

I am FX for you that this will be your month, it happens when you least exepecte it, so good luck I hope you gt your pink bundle soon.

Hi 2sweetkitties!

I just wanted to say that I'm in your situation.  I am currently pregnant with boy #2 (baby #3) and am due in Feb.  I plan on IMMEDIATELY trying/swaying for a girl after this little one is born.  No sense in waiting for me!
