SU/MSU Buddy Group-November

I'm so glad that I got on here real quick this evening.  I was feeling quite down for some reason.  I keep going over things in my head...wondering exactly what L4B has said. What am I doing wrong? Why is this happening?  You go over every little tiny detail to make sure that you have the best sway possible...but keep in mind that you're suppose to keep your stress low since stress sways boy.  

I think once I actually get a bfp, I feel like I will probably be in denial for awhile.

 I'm on 2WW still but losing hope It is DPO 10 and sensitive test was BFN. No matter how hard I kept staring, there was nothing, not even the faintest line. I know it is still early but in my previous pregnancies I have gotten BFP at this point. It is my first month trying and I didn't even expect to get pg this soon, why do I still feel so bad [:'(]

I'm going to Italy with DH at the end of November and I'm so afraid I will O there. I feel like I cannot miss a chance, maybe I shoud take all the SU equipment with me? I need to get pg before May next year, because of some money issues. I don't know how many tries I will give to SU / TBM before moving to natural swaying.

Ok, Ladies we need something positive!!!  for some BFP's already!!

I made my attempt last Friday and by the morning I had a temp spike..... does this mean that I missed 0+12??? 

I tested today as I just could not wait.... BFN I feel no hope for this month.

I am sorry babybo.....still have to wait for af to show before you call it quits!!!!  I know that I will be posting that I am out tomorrow!!!  Boo!!!  We need to get some BFP'S especially for us old timers!!!!   Darn this is getting old!!!

That is how I am feeling, I almost don't want to come on here anymore and add gloom and doom to the board!!  We do need some BFP's.

ds is walking about 60% of the time.  I look at him every day so happy that God gave me the knowledge to help you.  He (and my girls of course) are the high light of my day.  It may be taking a long time, but it will be worth it!  Even if you get an opposite you still get a wonderful new little person that will look up to you.  Keep it up ladies!

Ahhh, he is growing up so fast, I remember when you were in labour with him!!!  So cute.

Can anyone help..... on my last attempt the EW stayed at a 45* angle even when I put the TT staright to suck the EW out.... the semen was sort of sitting on top once it was straight..... would this still have been ok to use the sample??  I sucked the EW and used what was left......  I was desperate

I plan on doing EGS/SU/TBm next year in March/April, after I give birth to my third child.  My DH agreed to a fourth baby, so I plan on holding him to it and try again right away for another baby next year!

I dont understand

BabyBo....so it mixed?   I always keep my tt tilted after incubation when sucking the top and middle layers out.  If it mixed a little, then I just suck everything out and use the tiny portion at the bottom of the TT!!  Sometimes if the bottom looks like there are a lot of XY then I just throw the whole thing out!!!  But, I think that is usually when a SD should be done because usually when that happens I do notice my top layer does have a lot of XX swimmers!!!  So, If you felt that there were a lot of XX swimmers, then you should be fine!!  Does that make sense!!  I think it is all about checking the swimmers in the microscope!! 

Welcome Chelsea and congrats on your upcoming birth!!!   There is a lot of info on here, so dont feel discouraged, especially when you see that some of us on here are still trying after some time on here!!!

It is so hard to explain.  When I put the TT upright the EW stayed at an angle and the semen went on top of it so basically it is like the semen moved around the EW which stayed intact at the 45* degree angle.....  so I just sucked out the EW and what was on top of the EW and left the bottom part of the TT to insert...  not much left but at least there was a little bit.... I hope that this makes a bit more sense.

No, it didn't really mix it just moved down a bit on the TT and some semen went on top.... it was really strange.  The EW stayed at the 45* angle with the semen around it.... I should have taken a picture but I was so anxious to just make the attempt..... maybe this was a mistake but I have been thinking of not doing SU at all so this was a bit better than just DTD, at least this is what I thought????

I agree.  I found so many Y's in the EW and X's in the semen.... I just keep thinking that what if we are wrong with what they look like... always the skeptic I guess...
