I think it may help like 3-5 % or so but not 80% like many people on here have said. There are hundreds of millions of sperm and just a couple even reach the egg. I just think there is nothing we can do to make those couple sperm get there. I think its mainly luck.

Not sure about natural swaying, but I do believe in EGS.   I also think that some people are easily swayable and some not.   You have at least one girl already makes me think that you can be "swayed".  Hope you hear pink.

I think swaying can and does work for a lot of people, but of course not everyone. I conceived 2 DDs with zero effort. I personally feel that without swaying at some level (now, what extent, I'm not sure - maybe just Shettles would have been enough, maybe the diet was necessary, I don't know) we would have conceived another girl. As it stands, with swaying, I've conceived 2 boys. So, I can't be positive it 'worked', but I had 2 girls without swaying and got pg w/2 boys when I did sway, so it feels like it worked for me.

I think if swaying worked for you - we tend to believe, if it did not - you dont believe.  I so want to believe !!  Darn it us women should have a right to choose!!  if only....

Looking back when i conceived my boys, i was totally on the boy side, i took fish oil (thought it was good brain food = smart kids LOL), ate boy foods, salt & tomatoe sauce on everthing, did all the boy swaying stuff without knowing any of this stuff.

After finding this site a year ago now, i am giving it 100%, have been on this site every day since. I have totally changed diet, lost 6 kgs (not overweight to start with), very very low nutrients, changed ph, ions, etc all the 7 factors, we to church regularly and i have prayed so hard for years.  Will see how we go.

However i do believe "Its all in Gods Hands" and for whatever reason, we may never understand, God gives us what we need, not what we want.

No, I don't think it works. I think it is human nature to want to have some control of our destiny. We want to believe that we have some control in getting our desired gender.

But I am glad I swayed (however- I keep going back and forth on this, LOL). I was desperate for a Baby Girl , and I swayed with my last 2 boys and never got her. But I did everything I felt I could. I can move on and never wonder the what ifs Happy

I do ! its same as bding n O day to conceive a baby . Can we say it doesnt work ? NO Can we say it works ? NO, but we all know that it increases the chance of conceiving. So swaying does the same for gender selection

Swaying has 7 factors and i believe that swaying is also one (important one)of many other factors(God's will, chance, nature, etc) to get the gender we want,

On this note, I just want to say that my first u/s was wrong and I thought I was expecting DD #3 despite a pretty great sway. I was disappointed of course, but when someone posted they think it's 'dumb luck' meaning that people who sway are 'dumb' enough to believe in it, I really took offense to that. I didn't stop believing in swaying just because it didn't work for me. The fact is, I know enough people who it DID work for that even if it didn't work for me, it doesn't mean it doesn't work, it just means I feel into that 20-30% of people (or whatever you think the percentage is) who it didn't make enough of a difference for. So, I guess I just want it to be clear that some people still believe in swaying as a concept even if it didn't work for them. Obviously, my first u/s was wrong and I can now say that swaying did 'work' for me twice.

I still feel that it is 50/50 everytime. I have talked to lots of Dr. about it. Of course Dr don't know it all. But my obgyn has done Lots of reserch on it . Lots of her informatuion came from this site . I told her about it.  I think that some of us are lucky to each the gender we wanted and God wanted for us ... On that note I don't think it hurts to sway and give it everything you got. My dr said to try just don't but to much into it. If I do low tech with my next one I will sway again. I just don't really in my heart believe that it is more than 50%, but it can't hurt to try as long as you know only pdg is 100%. I just won't get my hopes up on it being the  gender I want from swaying. But it makes me feel better to sway , Hope I explained myself ok. Not to hurt anyone

Looking at the stats on this site, I do believe that swaying works most times otherwise I wouldnt be following the girl diet and doing the supps. The reason I am swaying is that even if I do get a boy, atleast I will know that I did what I could and tried my best rather than living with the What ifs? What if I had a girl if I had swayed etc etc. I will try my best and if I dont get a girl, I will still be happy.

I think that's really interesting coming from someone who has 4 of the same gender. (I'm not saying this in a snarky way!) When I see people with that many of the same gender, I would assume that your odds are NOT 50/50, but rather you are predisposed to have boys. That's how I felt about DH & myself after having 2 girls - our odds on our own were that we were more likely to produce another girl. Even if swaying only normed us back to 50/50 or 60/40 or whatever, that was still a 'win' because without swaying, I was MORE than 50% likely to have another girl. IDK, that's just my opinion, of course.

the one thing i think is that sometimes no matter how hard you try its always up to the man.  i see men who come from a long line of men in their family (has brothers, father has brothers no sisters) then he is likely to make boys... iykwim?

i want another girl but its up to God i guess. swaying just gives me something to obsess over while ttcing... lol
