TTC Girly Girl in November 2009

Thanks! Yes, I am doing B6, Calcium, Cranberry, Aspartame (my ph is at a 4.1 pretty much all the time now), and Sudafed. DH is taking cranberry also. Also planning to do the post bd lime too. I still haven't made any concrete decisions about timing, I'm kind of thinking it doesn't matter as much, but I don't know. I've been reading a bunch of studies (the ones posted on here and some others I found) and I'm really thinking that hormones are the most important factor. Oh, and I am not doing the girl diet really, but am doing low-salt, low-potassium, low-fat/high carbohydrate diet with extra fiber and very little dairy. I read something about estrogen in dairy, can't remember what it was exactly though. Wow, that sounds ridiculous now that I've written it all out, lol. I must admit to being a little obsessive. :) Fortunately, dh just thinks its funny and is willing to play along.

I remember talking to Diane about this back when I started swaying. You can make a lime douche that is pH3 or 4 but you have to add a lot of water, it took me some time to get it right. I think the lime prevented me from getting pregnant though, that and the diet, supps and cut off. I'm going to be 36 in December and eventhough I never had a problem getting pregnant before I'm starting to feel like I'm too old for swaying. Soooo...it will be a very light sway for me this cycle.

No +OPK yet but haven't tested yet today so we shall see.

I hope AF stays away this month, your chart looks promising. Sorry to read DH doesn't understand why you're down, ttc does have it's effect on a relation, I know it's difficult but hang in there sweety .

Thanks Lieske.  I think DH is just trying to stay positive for me.  He always tells me "well, then we'll just try next month". 

well my temps went back up, but still a BFN!!  I hope that this is it and the other day was an implantation dip.  I guess I'll know in a day or two...I'm trying not to let myself get too positive about this one.  Time will tell.

Sounds hopefuly...FX for you! 

I have heard that older men are more likely to produce girls - may be it is the decrease in testesterone??? However, my husband is half-bold and still produced 2 boys ;-(( His father lost his hair very young and had 3 boys. I am not so sure about the hair thing, I think it is mostly genetics.

Hello to all my ttc buddies

I've got it under control. (I HOPE!) I think giving it a new battery has fixed the issue. My temps are low and my c is showing sings of nearing ov!

A few more days and I can make my attempt!

do you think it will be ok to bd every night from AF to O? I was thinking of getting dark lines positive on opk, for 2 days, and then to stop bd..? Im tired of ttc, and just want to be pregnant..

But I still so much want a little girl.. Ive stopped all the supplements I was taking, felt like a bit to much, still taking calcium, on diet, increase my folic acid intake and on fertil aid supplement now, hoping it will work. It will be so nice to tell my husband his going to be a daddy again on Christmas..

Sounds like a lot of women bd AF to O and still get a girl...I am not a huge believer in timing  because it seems to vary so much...good luck 

I agree with you Turtles, I've seen too much conflicting information about the timing to really believe in it. I personally think the ph and hormones are the most promising. Here's hoping it works for all of us (and soon!)  :)
