2000!!!! Is that freakin high to anyone else?

So, 12dpo my beta was 54, 14dpo it was 11, 19dpo it's 2000!!!!! I about shit my pants when she told me that. I expected it to be about 500 with the normal doubling time since it had doubled in 48 hours. It's doubling now every 26 hours. I have had this nagging feeling I may be having twins since my pregnancy tests showed so early and the fact that I am instantly bloated and can't fit in my skinny pants already. I don't understand this bloating. I started to panic because I was afraid my body isn't going to allow me to keep from showing soon and how in the world am I going to explain why I am 5 or 6 weeks pregnant and look like I am 4 months already. How embarrassing. I hope this is just some kind of phase and this bloating subsides. But is that normal to be so high like that? 2000 at 4 weeks 5 days? that seems really high to me.

I'm not a mom of multiples, but my friend who has had a ton of infertility issues also had a REALLY high beta number when she finally found out she was pregnant after trying for nearly 6 years. I swore up and down she was having twins-- or triplets-- since the levels were so high and she'd been on fertility treatments. Nope, just a singleton. She's about 22 weeks and the doc's are certain it's just one lil bean in there.

Monday actually. Unfortunately the medication I was on up until I got my bfp can cause spina bifida so my doc scheduled me with a specialist to set me up with a genetic counselor and more than likely set up an amnio but he's giving me an U/S Monday so I am praying for heartbeat but I will only be 5 weeks 5 days so I don't know. I am glad they will do the amnio to ease my mind and the added bonus of knowing gender too but this is going to be a long 5 days. I can't wait to see this little bean. At 3 weeks 5 days they couldn't see anything at all but the machine is an old on in my Ob's office. It's a dinosaur I swear. So I'll be doing lots of but I am sure with that high of a number everything will be fine atleast with the heartbeat. I am so glad I stopped that medication cold turkey instead of weaning off of it like they wanted me to for weeks. It had absolutely no side effects getting off of it so I don't know why they wanted me to take so long getting off of it but I am stubborn and don't listen especially if it's going to endanger my child.

 well I don't know about twins.  My numbers were really high with this baby too.  I was 229 at 14 dpo and 328 at 15 dpo and 1667 at 18 dpo and there is only one in there.  BUT I have been reading a theory that girl beta numbers are higher ( and my beta's with my last dd were also in twin range, and my betas with my last son were so low I thought he might not make it), so if it's not two, maybe its a girl?

My SIL had really high #s and thought possible twins but it ended up being just one girl! I think your chances are looking pretty good for a girl if there is only one in there!

I don´t know yet how many I´m pregnant with, we transferred 3 girl embryos.

But my beta is really high

At  15 dpo it was 406

And at 22 dpo it was 12304.

And wow that is high if mine continue doubling every 25 hours I should be around 7-8000 at 21dpo.

Definitely!! I thought mine would be higher..because at 17dpo it was 614..so I was actually crying over my 23dpo numbers...I thought my numbers slowed!! I thought my hcg would keep doubling fast as it was..but after you reach 1000...it slows and dropped to doubling every 49h!! I was so so stressed. I think your numbers are looking girlie. Something *I* noticed..

I am pregnant with twins my beta  @14dpt 320 ,  19dpt 871 , 18 dpt 2,041 . GOOD LUCK !!!! 

At 17 dpo, my number was 863.  At 19 dpo it had went above 2300, but for some reason I never got the exact number.  Good Luck!!

Thanks for the replies girls. Looks like my numbers are def right at the twins mark but we'll see tommorrow. I think I would poop my pants if I am. LOL. J/K
